no way would I want Zion…his commitment to weight loss and being in shape just can’t be trusted…no matter how many games he misses or how many injuries he accumulates, he simply does not care
Well, Phoenix without Durant would be less talented than Miami’s roster. Would Butler be any happier in Phoenix? If they signed him to a long term extension, would Booker be thrilled? They certainly wouldn’t be a contender under this trade scenario.
Depends on what else they get back along with Jimmy and if they can make a subsequent trade to upgrade their roster
I'd really like Booker. That said, I'm warming to Durant. I'd wouldn't trade the Phoenix picks for Durant. What Phoenix likely expects for Durant worries me any time I see Durant speculation. I wouldn't be against trading for Durant, but hope it is more a FVV and a pick type of deal than a huge bit of the draft capital.
I hate giving up Jabari. I rather give up another Suns pick over giving up Jabari. No matter what, we don't know where we may land in future drafts, Jabari is a sure thing. Solid shooter, good defensive player, no way I want to give him up. I do want Durant, but I don't want to lose a rotation player. I rather give the Suns their 2025 pick back.
I hear you + thought same in past seasons. But there was no weight issues at Duke + Ime system + culture would be best place to rehab image. He responds well to hard coaching imo. Recently returned to court under his Duke weight + vowed to play next season at 270. Still only 24 + already 2× all star. His game perfectly fits Rockets style of physicality, transition scoring, defense + rebounds. And he should be cheaper than Booker or KD.
