Nowhere near as dumb as the decisions to pull the guys who got the lead for guys like Tate and Holiday or the decision to not call a timeout to move up the ball and put back in the competent players. That was just two young guys trying to be a hero, if either shot goes in, the game is a wrap.
I’m going to need confirmation that Jalen and Reed were made aware how stupid that decision was to jack up those 3s because I haven’t seen it yet. None of the chicken **** Houston sports reporters asked them about it.
Didn't he score 18 points off the bench? I don't think his shooting splits were elite, but that's still a pretty damned big step for a rook.
Neither should have shot the ball. But... Reed's a rookie that's has barely played who has had it drilled into his head to not play smart basketball and to chuck it anytime he has a hint of an opening. Jalen has been in the NBA for almost half a decade, with 275 games played and 9000 minutes. Plus his shot wasn't even anywhere near as wide open as Reed.
He was wide open because it was a transition pull-up on a fast break, definitely a worse shot than Jalen’s.
I wonder if anyone ever let Jalen know how utterly stupid that 3-pt shot in the last minute was....it doesn't seem like it. No mention of it anywhere. How will he ever learn? No wonder he has such low basketball IQ after being in the league half a decade. Houston media ask generic questions and stuff like this just gets swept under the rug
No it didn't lol Two things can be true though. I probably contributed to the jinx AND the entitled crybaby bit around here is stupid.
The Wizards are currently leading the Nets by 20 points halfway through the 4th quarter in Brooklyn. Yes, folks. The Washington Wizards.
