If we trade Reed towards anything less than a top 25 player, we are fools.

    Yes

Although, he looks better...like maybe the game's slowing down for him a tad. Needs the ball in his hands to be at his best...Not concerned about his shooting.

4th year Jalen somehow managed to top Reed’s stupid shot with a dumbass ill-advised three of his own

the entire team had a clutch time lobotomy right before our very eyes

Save face from what? Reed is still not worth a lottery pick. You lowering your expectations just to be right is more like saving face.

    Trade Reed while he's warm.

Yep almost felt like smacking him.

If we can get KD for a reasonable I'm all in. We have a competitive team this year, no reason not to be aggressive.

The Rockets could easily get Dalton Knecht or Stephon Castle plus picks for Sheppard if the Rockets wanted to hurt their team.

Now is the perfect time to get Reed 20+ mins a game and see if he can fix his shot. He definitely showed a lot more confidence and defense last game, but he was still 3-9 on 3 pt shooting, the main thing we need from him. Reed being a good shooter would help this team immensely, but we are talking Ime so who knows if he'll play or not.

Hoping his aggressive on offense mentality gets him those scrap minutes back.

Funny how whenever a player people don't like plays well, they say, "Showcase for trade."

Lol the Spurs would leap at the opportunity to upgrade from Castle to Sheppard.... there's a reason they just traded for a 27 year old PG despite having Castle and CP3

Reed needs to take 30 shots a game like Trae Young! Holiday should lose minutes! :)

I still wouldn't move Reed unless we were getting back a major piece in return. But I do think he'll have to be brought along slowly. He might be ready to play backup PG full-time next season.

Liked what I saw from the kid last night, but he needs a little more time in the oven before he's ready to play real minutes on a playoff team. I still think we should go get another backup for the rest of the season as an upgrade over Holiday, but keep getting Reed some minutes in garbage time.

Reed is going to be a fantastic player. Unless we are getting back a superstar there is absolutely no reason to trade Reed.

Rockets aren’t true contenders. Making the playoffs this season meant success for most of us. Looks like we are going to do that with flying colors. No need to risk the future for maxing this season out which is likely a second round exit anyway…

He's been doing fine, other than not knocking down enough 3's. Assuming that turns around, then we all G.

If Jaden Springer is our big move, then we’re not a real threat in the playoffs and mine as well give Reed 20 minutes a game. I no longer consider him a potential bust. He got 2 free throws last night and was more aggressive. He’s moved from “bust” to just disappointing, but as long as he’s aggressive I can stomach that and there is hope!

You don't know what you are talking about.

Anyone that sees Dalton play knows he is a baller. Watch his highlights and even you with your eyes
    closed can see it.

So the Wiz just traded for Khris Middleton. So how does he fit the 19 year old
time line? Dude is 34 years old and still under contract.
He fits Brogdon, Valanciunas, Richaun Holmes.

    But not:
    Carlton Carrington 19
    Bilal Coulibaly 20
    A Sarr 20

So they are going to let these guys walk?
    Kispert
    Bagley
    Kuzma (today)
    Johnny Davis
    Jordan Poole

Congratulations, you just made the Wiz a G-league team.....just training up guys
to only walk and make other teams better. It's stupid.

Stick with projects that are closer to busts than making it.

    1. Sarr is 19 not 20
    2. He won rookie of the month
    3. Dalton was just traded (along with an unprotected pick and swap) for a center, because again he is likely a role player. The Wizards want upside. You initially said the Wizards would take Dalton over him I disagreed and i am most likely correct. If you don't understand this then I don't know what to tell you.

Dalton has the 5th worst estimated box plus/minus in the NBA.
