Rockets acquire Jaden Springer, second-round pick from Boston

Lol I wouldn't, Ime doesnt make decisions based on logic or reason.... anything could happen and it wouldn't surprise me.

The idiot put Aaron Holiday in for defense last night.... and no surprise to anyone but maybe Ime, Holiday was immediately picked on for an easy bucket.

 

I like Jaden Springer. He is from the same class as Jalen Green but he prob declared too early, should've stayed in college for a couple more years.

He is a defensive minded big guard who is somewhat athletic but cant shoot, reminds me of a younger Nwaba.

Def the right way to use our capspace we keep collecting assets for a somewhat useful bench fodder.

 

Lol Springer will likely get cut. Even tho, it was a shameful loss yesterday, Reed played well.

 

For 2nds, sure.

But Holliday is a great value for what he is. And ideally Sheppard will/should be ready for that spot at some point

I also think any additional ball handler at any position would accomplish taking a little pressure off Fred/Jalen

Fire up the appreciation thread guys. There really isn't room for Springer in this roster. I'm surprised posters are even suggesting he may be used lol.

 

I like both Springer and the pick.

Morey's instincts were right about this guy, but he needs time. Something he wasn't going to get in Philly or Boston.

Even if he doesn't pan out, the pick should be upper middle second with potential upside.

 

IMO, Tate will be traded by the deadline.

Never seen the guy play, but I'm guessing if he make $4mil and require asset to be rid of, he's probably not rotation level player.

I'm still looking for a veteran PG trade so the offense doesn't look like crap whenever FVV is not on the court

 

Springer should play over Tate.

 

Market price for a second round pick is officially $4M.
