Between the two families there is only one surviving member. An eldest daughter who was away at college. I simply cannot imagine. Their church set up a fund to assist if anyone is interested. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-...cons&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link
Biden folks allowed Americans to directly file their tax directly with the IRS which eliminates the need for turbotax. Elon has now eliminated that program in the name of "DEI" lol Braindead low iq cultist @Tomstro @Salvy
Scoop: 20,000 federal workers take "buyout" so far, official says https://www.axios.com/2025/02/04/tr...ditorial&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
It is too dangerous to take. No guarantee you get paid. No guarantee that you don't have to keep working. They literally gave no information about it in the emails. It is going to be a complete disaster filled with a number of lawsuits.
agreed, but the offer is out there. The problem no one is addressing is the likely actual outcome of such a buyout, if it were allowed to proceed. Buyouts generally appeal to employees who have good options elsewhere--meaning good employees, employees with talent. Those who remain behind are less valuable employees, including the dead wood. So instead of a systematic, targeted culling of dead wood, blanket buyouts tend to backfire rather spectacularly by offering talented individuals a golden parachute to pursue their next position while still being paid in the position they are leaving.
There are very few talented individuals are working in the federal government, however. Especially in DC.
With no legal power to do so, Elon Musk - a drug addicted Nazi salute enthusiast - is trying to close every single Government office by cancelling the leases https://apnews.com/article/trump-mu...230c077bd88afdc57894c6b8dcdfcf8102146e6ce9b3#
Beautiful. The moving of government out of DC, which is 95% liberal, and into a more representative part of the country is LONG OVERDUE. Republicans are uprooting the unelected, unaccountable 4th branch of government -- the DC bureaucracy. A stronghold of Democrat power, due to the population of DC. Remove this and create a new government of, by, and for the people! This is what true democracy looks like. GOOD DAY
lol a real movement for the people by the people!.... lead by the world richest man with dubious intentions yep.
We're honestly about 10 days away from total anarchy/martial law if the current trajectory continues I know most people aren't paying attention to boring stuff like "Bureau of Fiscal Services" and BLS and USAiD - but the ramifications of all this insanity are like - death of the Republic level stuff. Like a complete 2008 style meltdown with no government to step in
No we are not -- Trump is restoring FISCAL SANITY and reducing the size of a FAT AND BLOATED federal government. This is a much needed course correction after the Democrats spent us into inflationary tailspin and grew the size of government to unfathomable levels.
I guess we know the real reason @Os Trigonum and the Putin Piss babies are making up fake reasons to let a drug addled South African drug user unilaterally & illegally overrule the government
An unelected South African billionaire with ties to China and Russia and his hired kids are ok doing it? It's fine to give them the power to fire people and dismantle federal agencies? They are accessing everyone's personal and financial information. People go frantic when security breaches give their access to outsiders, yet this is ok? Make that make sense.
Stop with the conspiracy theories. The Treasury Secretary today sent around a memo debunking the DOGE access conspiracy theory. Keep up. Also, Elon Musk's support and involvement in government was a key part of Trump's campaign. It's what people voted for. GOOD DAY
LOL, you are so damn naive if you believe that. Good grief. Tell me the billionaire Trump appointed Treasury Secretary who spent his life helping the rich get richer is telling you the honest truth, or compulsive lying Trump is, and I have an oceanfront property to sell you in Nebraska.
It's a lie anyways. They say DOGE only has "read access" LOL They have read and write access which means they can see the info and make changes. https://www.crisesnotes.com/day-six-of-the-trump-musk-treasury-payments-crisis-of-2025/
How does cancelling government leases nation wide move government out of DC? The GSA has offices throughout the US to service the local area. Looking at the list of current GSA offices locations, there are about 90 in Alaska, 120 in Alabama, 80 in Arkansas, 150 in Arizona, 400 in FL, and 600 in Texas. DC has 160. So in order to close 160 offices in DC, it's worth closing over 7000 nation wide? https://catalog.data.gov/dataset/inventory-of-owned-and-leased-properties-iolp
related https://ethicsalarms.com/2025/02/04...he-month-and-maybe-2025-its-too-soon-to-tell/ excerpt: “Nobody Elected Elon!” —The slogan of the hysterical protest outside the Treasury building today, an unusually stupid demonstration even by stupid demonstration standards. Every speaker there—Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, the outrageous Jasmine Crockett and others—gets “credit” for the slogan whether they actually said those exact words or not. more at the link
You obviously missed the context of why I had said that. Context matters. El_Conquistador said that Republicans are uprooting the unelected, unaccountable 4th branch of government -- the DC bureaucracy.
