Alperen Sengun is the Rockets' franchise player

You wouldn't care but you'd be sad watching the lakers win the next 7 rings. Luka and Alpi would be unstoppable.

 

If luka went to the spurs instead of LA.....ya i might just take the next decade off. Luka and sengun i wouldn't be worried about, sengun doesn't really fit well for luka.

If he goes 14/14, y'all would still find something to b**** at. He tried to give you a win. Teams don't lose a 4 pt lead in 8 seconds without choking

That's not how the flow of a game goes and you know that. Once that 4 pt lead is had with EIGHT seconds, the freebies missed by him, Green's missed tech, Brooks missed ft and dumb threes are erased. You're just searching to put blame

 

His FT slump seems a mental issue otherwise he could not hit at clutch.

 

Did he not hit two free throws to put us up 4 with under 20 seconds left?

 

I've b****ed about it all year and I will continue to do so until he fixes it - his horrific efficiency is a huge problem. It's not just about the free throws, it's about the whole package. If Sengun was able to score efficiently then this wouldn't even be a choke-able game, we'd be up double digits and just waiting out the clock. He was 8-18 and 8-14 from the free throw line, what is that like 45% TS? I'm not into blaming one player for the whole game, and if I was going to pick one player for this game then Sengun would be near the bottom of my list. But I will continue to be critical of his sub-Westbrook level efficiency. It makes it really really hard to win when your stars can't score efficiently.

8-18, 2 of those attempts where impossible putbacks on long threes he just threw up there. two more attempts where his own putbacks. 24 points on 18 FGs is star level efficiency. Go down the list of scoring, 6 points over FGs attempted. We all wish he was a 77% FT shooter but that's not the case, yet he put the team on his back, 15 points in the 4th.
18 points where scored in the paint the entire game when he was in. Now that's the whole package.
Would have loved it if it was 22 pts that means the Nets never got of 2 threes in 8 seconds.
