Hell no. Banchero less efficient than Jalen Green at scoring. Can't defend. Can't protect the rim. Shaky shooter. Not sure what you're getting above average from him except passing and acting tough. Think about it if they go up against each other one on one, would you be surprised if Amen outplayed him head to head if they allowed Banchero? They'd never allow him to guard Amen, but if they did he'd be toast. Amen can guard him. He doesn't know how to use his size at all actually. Banchero opened the season hot though let's see if there's improvement. He's been disgustingly bad the past few games.
He’s currently averaging more assists than Marion ever did. If you added secondary playmaking to Marion — let alone primary — that is a special player.
I’ve never been impressed with Banchero, just another media generated star. I wouldn’t trad Jabari straight up for Banchero.
On overall two way true value, I think Banchero is only slightly ahead of Jabari in odds - however, I tend to bet on the harder worker and I don't know much about Banchero's work ethic off the court. I know Jabari is a pretty hard worker though sometimes I wonder why he's doing anything other than putting on muscle and working on his 3pt range/volume. Jabari definitely has a good chance of having a better career if you ask me.
gotta be smarter with the ball. ever since the game winner in boston, he's had some costly TOs someone book him a summer session with steve nash
he's been a turnover machine and his decision-making has been shaky. extended starter minutes is probably wearing him down and affecting his conditioning.
One way coaching can protect him is take him away from inbounding duties. Unnecesary pressure. Not sure what Udoka is doind putting him there again and again.

He's a nonshooting perimeter player that can pass. It's fairly typical for that person to be the inbounder.
It's too much. It's the first time in his life playing this much, bound to need a rest before getting used to big minutes.
He is obviously gassed. I said it a few weeks ago that he is not used to this many 40 minute games and it would catch up to him. I also hated when Ime was consistently playing him in the low 20's. Ime can't seem to manage rotations appropriately. He may be the best defensive coach and motivator in the league, but he is terrible at offense. It is a problem for us going forward if not corrected. I don't want him fired, but Stone better get him some help both with better players that can shoot and with a better coaching staff.
Yeah he's so stubborn about it. Last year for 21 games the players are out of breath and doing their best and he keeps asking them to play harder till we're 6-16 and he has to change something which just fixes everything. Seems a tiny bit wiser about it this season. Played 9 guys this game. To be honest we need to go to 10 no matter who the 10 are till the ASB. He has to loosen up give some more minutes to shooters who might not be great defenders.
At one point he subbed out Jalen. Jalen didn’t even make it to his seat before Ime sent him to the scorers table. Like what was the point?
I suspect he's a bit dinged-up and fatigued. We've seen what he can do. What position he plays is beside the point-- and not the point-- though I believe he could be very good at the point guard position with a little seasoning.
