We should have one of those "Who Said it?" things about USAID. The two competitors would be the Mumpers and Russian media.

Hint: They are saying the same things.

This destructive ridiculousness reinforces two things I've learned in life:

1. An accomplished person in one bit of life tends to think their intelligence automatically conveys to everything else and usually is happy to tell you so.
2. A person who knows little about a complex subject has some faux epiphany (based on reductionist, simplistic, elementary thought) and believes they are the first to think of this particular thing, even though the folks involved in the complexity thought of it well before Einstein showed up with "It's just common sense."

TLDR: We now have government by the vain and stupid. And yes, you can be smart and incredibly stupid at the same time.

It never ends well, but of course, they don't read history either--they do have some vague notion it's there, so ignoring and banning it soothes the uneasiness.

I swear, I'm close to living through the diary of my Civil War ancestor who was giddy that the war had started. He thought the Confederates would beat the prissy Yankees and be in NYC before he and his fellow Texans got to Virginia. He ended up in a POW camp, starved, injured, and had to walk home after the war. His diary entries after the first armed encounter took a turn and became much darker as he recognized how stupid he was.

Ron Paul is a former doctor who delivered an old GF of mine's baby. He's actually much more accomplished person than you will ever be. He's a multiple time re=elected congressman. He's hardly insane. He's actually a patriot and proud Texan. You're post on the otherhand reeks with TDS and you're the type of guy who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. It's guys like you in congress that have never balanced a checkbook or ran a business that doesn't understand basic finances. You're type is why this country is 40 billion dollars in debt. I will try to give you a businessman's perspective. To fix the obvious fraud in USAID they need to freeze everything for 30 days and do a forensic accounting of all monies spent and where those monies were spent, (Despite what you here on the news nobody is going to die in those 30 days) In those 30 days and going forward you clean things up and put things under the purview of Rubio and the Secretary of State. That way people that are actually in need will get the help they need. Also you throw those who committed fraud in jail for 20 years.

 

USAID is like .75% of the US budget. How exactly does this help solve the budget?

 

BS, if you think China isn't willing to do this to maintain power. If you think Covid wasn't manufactured despite what the FBI (Who's certainly no friend of Trump) has said then we cant have a discussion.

I can actually make a case that China/Dems/Fauci colluded together to put a plague on the world. It accomplished 2 goals, (Gates has said there are to many people in the world) To thin out the world and China/Deep State to maintain power. See Biden letting the Chinese do whatever they want when is comes to spying. See: The Hot air balloon that Biden let travel all over the country and then shooting it down over water so the info cant be recovered.

So no oversight for Rebublicans in how they spend that money though lol. And...tell me something, do you think those tax cuts paid for themselves because Trump added more to the debt then Biden did(even factoring out Covid).

 

Look China is a problem, but China was also shut down too by Covid. Why would they do that? You dont have strong evidence that they did in fact cause this on purpose.

That...is and has always been the Republican model, they rarely do anything good. Their MO are just unsustainable tax cuts for the rich and then cutting social programs for the poor, thats it.
