[ESPN] ESPN’s Pete Thamel writes the “building sentiment” from scouts and executives is that Miami’s Cam Ward is “likely” to be the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Raiders have $107 million in cap space, I can him going there for the quick turn around with Carroll
JJ has another kid on the way... I am glad he is the player most people think of first when they think of the Texans
Garrett is worth at least two 1st and more. He's the best defensive player in the NFL not withstanding Chris Jones.
Pass without the Rams taking on Schultz contract. I'm thinking that's around 13 mil in 2025-2026 each. Truthfully, signing two young guys like Elijah Moore, Greg Dortsh, Tylan Wallace, Bo Melton would be the smarter move. Although having Kupp around to show the young WR's the ropes has some value.
Can someone explain to me the infatuation with Kupp? Why do we want aging declining injury-prone receivers that their own team wants to get rid of?
He looked great in the Rams games I watched. Collins, Kupp, 2nd rd WR, maybe Diggs, Dell, Woods/Hutch/Metchie. That’s undefendable with any of those 3-4 on the field.
yup no team will trade for him without renegotiating that deal to make it more team friendly. I think he’d do wonders for CJ, like a supped up Robert Woods.
Now imagine Caley gets in, helps find a solid OL coach…and the players we have there are totally fine and just needed coaching? How freeing would that make our upcoming draft if the majority of the issue was just coaching? That’d be ridiculously ideal given the investment already in the OL and even if it’s one less draft pick needing to be spent there, it’s a chance to upgrade other positions.
I also thought there was a good chance a new OL Coach was all that was really needed. But will they know if the gang from last year can improve enough to not waste any unneeded picks before the Draft on April 24th?
Agreed, he will go to a team with a ton of cap space, just my opinion but I would never pay $30 million to a WR...........too much riding on one player who is not a QB or DE, hell I would have loved to pay $15 million for a Derrick Henry, more bang for the buck in hindsight
I'm thinking LV or Washington. LV trades 6, 37 and maybe a future 3rd with Tennessee for no.1, take Ward, sign Higgins. Still tons of cap space to go after defense which was middle of the pack last year. Higgins and Bowers paired with Ward, Oh my!
