It's just poor quote etiquette by Plowman. Bad Plowman. It's just quoting Codman from another thread.

Yeah Lauri deliberately signed that extention the day after the deadline that would allow him to be traded this season so that there wouldn't be any trade news about him. Much ado was made about it when it happened. Any Lauri rumors are kinda a bad sign.

Dependent on the players going out, KD on the Rockets can make sense. I was against it earlier this year, but considering the season we are having, and the fact that we just need someone that can get us a bucket when we are cold, I definitely think there is a place for KD in this roster assuming he is available and wants to play ball over here. Now, if we really have to extend him a few additional year, then I'm likely backing away from a deal for KD, but if we just stick to his current contract, then I'm all for KD coming to play for Houston. He would really help us this year and help solidify us advancing in the playoffs and also help us finish the season strong so we don't slip too much in the standings.

KD is signed through next year. That's the rest of this year and next year as a contender as long as he doesn't get hurt. It is certainly a gamble, but if the Suns get a return like the reported Warriors package the Phoenix picks lose at least half their value. Durant is the best player available tor those picks. I want Ant, but if the Suns' picks go down in value then we have no chance for him or Giannis in which we will have to hope the current roster is good enough for a championship. If the reports are true and Durant is up for grabs, Booker is definitely off the market. Hell, OKC may even make a play for Durant as Chet insurance.

Not trying to be an insider, because I’m not one. Have a friend in the Rockets org that has told me some things that I can’t share. I know I know. I will say that they would without question trade Cam and it would not surprise me if they do. He has some things in his life he needs to change, not to mention needing to grow up in a big way.

I love his talent. I don’t like what I know about him including the attitude. Just hope it they do trade him, it doesn’t come back to bite the org.

Had a former student who used to hoop with Cam. Said Cam liked the natural herbs too much and for some reason he liked to smoke them? even if he KNEW WADA-like test was coming. Then again this student liked to do the same ssssoooo...

Wiggins, Kuminga, pods, and several picks. Of course they would need to resign Wiggins and Kuminga which might be difficult, but they would have more flexibility to do deals in the off-season.
