I don't want GMs who preclude making a big move if the opportunity arose. I like that Stone is publicy saying that the Rockets are not open for business, but behind the scenes, I hope the shop is open.
My expectation for the Rockets for this season is to make the playoffs. Barring something unforeseen, it should happen with flying colors….
Only trade that makes sense for me is: Rocket's receive: Kevin Durant + filler Suns receive: Jalen Green + expiring contracts + 1-2 picks. Now they get to make a hard title run THIS SEASON and next. Then they are poised for the future with young team that is ready to come into their own.
