    No one voted for them, they should not have access to anything, we should be locking up Elon and his team for breaking the law.

    It is ridiculous they are NOT elected officials....they have no right to look at anything.

    They are an outside group, it would be like giving access to all of this to the DNC - or to a private corporation, it is highly illegal.

    I haven't gotten into all the specifics but there are so many of them and it is all so illegal! Like, you can't unilaterally abolish government agencies because Elon musk told you to

    Anyway in terms of the DOGE kids illegally trying to take control of the Treasury - this is probably the best explanation as to why it's dangerous (also lots of discussion of COBOL)

    In some ways, as enormously alarming at this all is, it’s somehow not the biggest concern that I have been thinking about. For the past 36 hours (writing these words at Midnight on Saturday) my mind has returned over and over to the idea that they have been asking for “source code information” to the Treasury’s internal payments system. The concept of Elon Musk asking for the Treasury payments system’s “source code” would make any veteran of legacy mission critical IT laugh hysterically, and then perhaps weep. ​

    pretty sure Elon Musk hasn't told anyone to "unilaterally abolish government agencies." This is an unnecessarily hyperbolic depiction of what Musk's task is

    Honestly, both Trump and Musk should be arrested......

    And idiots celebrating rage while their country is stolen out from under them, will not be happy when they have to show their papers everywhere, and there is no longer free speech, and their families are suffering for it.

    And those not from this country should be concerned, as soon anyone can point a finger at their immigration status and they might be deported as non-Americans.....

    It is not far from that already.

    The Org is fine, the access they have is illegal.

    They should not have anything to do with Government it is like giving the DNC keys to the funds .....they aren't allowed either.

    But thanks for being pedantic. The point is clear in the original post for anyone to understand unless you are trying to troll....
