The only scenario where I want Kevin Durant is if he can be had for Brooks, Landale, Jeff Green, and Aaron Holiday plus picks. The Suns do it because we own their picks and they are going to be tanking....so they need those picks and they might as well get essentially only expiring contracts to help start the rebuild with more of a clean slate. The Rockets do it because KD could help them win it all this season and they'd only be on the hook for this season and one more. Give the Rockets maybe 2 chances at winning it all before being out of the KD business.

I agree with you. We can make a run at the championship this year if none of our core of Sengun, Amen, Jalen, and Jabari are in the trade. I would love Cam, Reed, and filler and 2 of Phoenix picks (their choice) and our 2031 frp (if necessary). It would almost certainly have to include FVV since Phoenix can't aggregate salaries being over the 2nd apron, and they have to have roster room. FVV, CAm, Tari and picks would get it done, Maybe in a seperate deal we get Lonzo or Coby.
