I don't see the benefit in signing Kyrie. He''ll be looking for a max contract and will be 33 next season, a full decade older than our core. Signing him hurts the Mavs, but we don't need them to be bad next year. We need them to be bad in four years.

 

Kyrie is going to leave Dallas and get one more max contract elsewhere. He's not even about winning as much as accolades for his handles.

He can't make it work with any superstars. He's one of the biggest liabilities in the league for consistency.

Miami would be interesting for him though...
