No. Just know what I watch on the court.

Forgive me, you must be the crowd who sees he was the top scorer and look no further thinking he was great.

Guess Udoka was high or simply distracted when he called a timeout seconds into the quarter and abused Jalen all the way to the bench.

People are clamouring for him to be the PG...

People claim he'd be so much better without FVV...

People claim Sengun holds him back and he's so much better with Adams...

What a time to show out and prove all those things correct and a good idea. Against a pitiful 15-33 Nets team.

Classic Jalen game. 29 points on 24 shot attempts without barely anything else done on the court.

It's always excuse after excuse after excuse for Jalen Green.

Doesn't matter if he is the leading scorer because of his ridiculous shot attempts for a youngster, this Brooklyn game shows how the Rockets are missing Alperen hub and Fred at his best.

Jalen is good as a stop gap until Amen is consistently ready for bigger tasks.

Someone would have to make the claim Green was a big reason we lost to Memphis if someone had to resort to bringing up +/- so already this question is flawed just based on that.

Green played decently the past two games.
We acting as if Amen is 19 and Green is 26 or something lol

Out of all players who are asked to self create their offense on this team who has the best scoring efficiency (efg% and ts%)?

Actually regressing for a few games now. It's not the shooting that's the main problem here, the more concerning thing is him going back to bad decision making, an over-reliance on 3s, all that sort of stuff that's made him an inconsistent guy. He's definitely better this year no doubt, but I think it's safe to say there's no 4th year leap or anything of the sort.

This is not disrespect to Jalen, but he is type of a player when On mood shoot the Lights out, but you can not win.
Thats why Sengun is allstar, Jalen is not and will probably not be.. Winning is about balance and basketball iq.
A very bad Nets team, without their 4 starters toyed with us.. what can be said anymore?

It’s either a viable stat to point to or it’s not. Pretty sure the consensus is it’s not. But last game there was no shortage of people rushing to point to that stat as evidence that he played well.

‘Edit: And I do agree he played well the last two. I’m just not a fan of picking and choosing when certain numbers are useful to judge a players performance.

"29pts on 24 shots" like its bad efficiency is wild.

29 out of 24 shots is stoopid...
This was the game and an easy game against an easy team lacking its 4 starters from its starting 5 for Jalen to prove He deserves to be allstar, Sengun does not hold himback when he plays..
    But he couldnt..
Without players like FVV or Alpi, Who brings team its momentum, Jalen can not lead a team.
Loss is not on him completely, l dont say this, but your allstar center is absent, your PG is injured, you need to show more basketball iq,court vision.
C'mon man, as a player your only skillset is shooting and you are making 29 points from 24 shots, these are empty stats, not match winning stats..

I like Jalen as part of our team, but it pisses me off when some fans act as he is allstar caliber player.
Only thing this kid has as skillset is shooting, thats all. And when he does this inefficiently, he brings nothing to the table besides making his numbers..

    Exactly.

Points per field goal attempt this season for our two leading scorers:

    JG 1.23
    Al-P 1.23

Jaylen Brown won Finals MVP averaging 1.24.

Before going 1-2 in garbage time with seconds left Green had 27 on 22 shots (1.23 points per fga). Finishing with 29 on 24 fga (1.21) is now "inefficient"? Lol.

Some need to think through their hate arguments a little better.

Good news is Jalen rarely has several bad games in a row now. That’s improvement

Idiots on here mad at his 3pt attempts when he can’t get to the rim with 3 guys standing in the paint cause Amen Jock Tari Tate Adams don’t provide no spacing

When Jalen plays well and so do others on the team = Jalen overrated
When Jalen plays bad and others play well = Jalen is not needed
When others play bad and Jalen plays well in a loss = Jalen should be good enough to carry the team vs inferior opponents
When others play bad and Jalens plays well in a win = ballhog he should have gotten others involved
When others play well and Jalen plays bad in a win = Unnecessary trade him for chips
When others play well and Jalen plays well in a win = luck

Did I cover all the possible outcomes?

his three ball has been off since he hurt his hand, which is a damn shame because he was an inferno previously to that.

as much as we love the monster dunks it could be wise to have more finger-rolls in the future.

So lets hope he make us win some games, when our all star center is out.
