His peers and media think more highly of Kyrie than us fans....he is just a minor second banana. I don't want to bear Nico Harrison.
AD is very talented. But he has the reputation of being a beta, not an alpha. He never led his team in New Orleans passed the second round as their best player. Not to mention his proneness to injuries.
I mean, they have Kyrie. Theoretically, they could do ok this season. But the age difference alone makes this a terrible trade, plus, Doncic is just much more unique and a level above in terms of talent.
Well he got one thing right that's for sure. I think he's being a tad too generous about the 10 year part of burying himself though.

Luka is: 1: The younger player 2: Less injury prone 3: The better player. 4: Has led the his team to a conference finals and an nba title. Davis ha not achieved anything as the best player on the team. So Yeah, totally understandable trade... Even if Davis was 25 and Luka was 31 I would not have done the trade.
Yes downgrade even further and get even older and more injury prone. That being said Davis for butler would be less ridiculous than the Doncic for Davis trade... so maybe the Mavs will do it. I almost forgot that Kidd was the coach. Added bonus him being miserable
