This makes zero sense for them. Dallas sees their team as champion contenders for the next few years with Kyrie as their go to player. They’re not blowing it up.

It's a shame the Spurs didn't have to even give up one of Vassell, Castle, Keldon Johnson, or Sochan.

Sort of but the Spurs are back and will replace the Mavs as the real threat to Houston in Texas.

It's funny that both teams that traded superstars this deadline did so still trying to win now. Bottom half of the West will be a bloodbath.

 

The Kings are basically getting 2 firsts.

The only way they get the 2025 Charlotte first rounder is if it falls out of the lottery (otherwise CHA keeps it, and doesn't send it to the Kings via the Spurs).
