He's showing exactly the productvity that was expected by anybody that paid attention. He's a mediocre defensive player, and has even less scoring ability than he did in GS. He certainly can still knock down a shot, but that's it. There will always be a job for shooters, but he's just a role player now and he's getting paid role player money. He's isn't making some big impact.
Imagine signing in Dallas SOLELY due to Luka Doncic and how easy he'd make your basketball life. If I was Klay Thompson, I'd be PISSED.
I’d finally respect this guy if he demands a trade and really wish he would. Same with Kyrie. I’d do it if I were in their shoes.

The Robins. Kyrie a Robin to Lebron's Batman, and in his later years a robin to KD (Nets), and to Luka (mavs). He couldn't cut it as a #1 on the Celtics. AD, a #2 to Lebron in the LAL run. Couldn't as a #1 in New Orleans. Klay a #2 to Step. Nico assembled a team of #2's. On paper, the team fits and will be solid in the short term.
