You weren't using the logic when we missed Sengun last season with a record of ..... 13-2. I'm not even saying Sengun missing was the reason why we went 13-2.

I agree with this while also thinking that in the first half Jalen wasn’t as play-maky as he usually is, he was a bit more hesitant than usual—most likely because there was very little help and the nets were able to collapse hard. Either way, Jalen was definitely not the problem today, I think our overall effort was. Had the team just played as hard as they did in the 4th all game, I suspect it would’ve been an ugly win instead of a blowout loss. Jalen shouldve had 3 assists though, Holiday was just ****
I feel like you really dislike Ime, but in my opinion he’s the reason why we’re so far ahead of schedule from a winning perspective. He’s not perfect but he is still quite new to being Head Coach and is already one of the best.
I am so glad I didn’t go to the game even though I got a good deal on tickets, knew it was going to be a trap game. games like these when you should automatically win but you don’t really pisses me off and ruin my nights
1. No Sengun, No Rockets identity. We don't play with confidence. We don't play with any pep in their step. This is the NBA. No team is going to lay down and anyone can be beat in a 1 game series. 2. Good learning opportunity once again. You learn from losses like this as you try and find who you are. 3. Ime is still a coach in learning as well. Jocke/Holiday mins were horrendous for us tonight. Adjustments made, but too late. 4. Horrible night offensively and more so, defensibly as well. There was little no resistance just like towards the end of the Memphis game. 5. Good thing is, we are still #2 in the west. Have some tough games, but the majority are against weaker opponents, whom we should beat up on if we are 100% healthy. 6. As always, as I have been saying recently, we need a tier 1 star unless we opt to wait for one to develop from the looks of things that isn't happening for the next couple of year, at least. Need a Durant type... or a Bonafide shooter and scorer. If no trades are made, watch for the Rockets to be major players in the buyout market. AND.... You are right. He isn't HIM right now. He is growing. He is still has to develop his shooting and offensive prowess. He isn't a star. Not even close. NOT YET.

Well, it was the second night of a B2B for Portland too. They played each other the night before at Toyota Center(which the Rockets won in a blowout). But this is definitely the worst loss of the season.

This team is slacking off playing at home. The lack of energy and urgency was similar to the Pistons game at home after that West coast road trip.
Does Ime ever take fault? Even the most accomplished coaches do it but Ime ALWAYS blames effort, energy and the players. It's actually ridiculous.
