In case your forgot, Shae was a monstrous beast is the playoffs last year. IMO, he was downright historic against the Mavs. He wasn't why they lost.
IIRC the Mavs and Thunder scored the same amount of points last Playoffs meaning it was closer than what the 2-4 let on. Thunder had 1 blowout and Mavs had 3 down to the wire wins. Close.
But he is wrong here... Warriors are -2.3 per 100 possessions when Steph is on the bench. They're +2.9 with him on the floor. Kyrie's numbers say he doesn't have as big of an impact as Steph even if Kyrie averages a couple more points.
Meh I'd take Kyrie, Powell, Sabonis over him this season. Only 2 points in the first half tonight against the Suns.
I would agree on Powell/Sabonis. Their on-off numbers are crazy good. Sabonis especially. Kings are +11.8 better with him on the court vs off the court. The type of impact that would put players in MVP convos before Jokic came along and started posting +20 on/off seasons (peak Harden was +9).
The FT discrepancy is amazing. 32-18 But the Magic is still losing to the lowly Jazz. Paolo scorred 7 point on 18 shots.
Banchero and Wagner are both back but Magic with back to back blow out losses to the Blazers and Jazz. Yikes.
