What I'm curious about mostly is how in the hell anyone on the staff as an o line coach of any sort last year would be able to fix what was a trainwreck of an offensive line.

That's a slate that needs to be wiped clean, sanitized, bleached, sanitized again, and then thrown away.

They're going to give CJ what he wants this off=season. That means promoting Johnson who I love, smart guy that I've played golf with, but I wish they would flush the offensive staff and they're going to bring back Diggs because that's what CJ wants IMHO. Lets hope this works out.

They are not giving CJ the Aaron Roger’s keys to the kingdom. Hell they didn’t even give Sex Pervert that kind of sway and he was already signed. They’ll maybe keep Jerrod as CJ tablet holder and ask for an opinion but the final decision is on Demeco and Nick.

They were going to give the pervert the keys. Remember he wanted a say into who the new HC/GM was going to be and some say in personnel. I expect CJ to have some say in the new OC and Diggs. Jerrod doesn't deserve the OC job after CJ/the offense regressed. If he gets the job it will be because of Jerrod.

While I want Chip, last season when suggestions were thrown about who takes over after Slowik took a HC job, y'all quickly wanted Jerrod. He was just as close to Stroud last year.
The Stroud offense regressed because the IOL was wet tissue paper and the situational play calling was even worse, happy feet derived from this point on and every team copying it:

Watson wanted the keys but didn't get them.. Remember, that was what he was upset about. Media then asked Rodgers about should qbs have a say. Ironically, 4 years laters Rodgers became the GM for the Jets.
    I don't want Diggs either.

Listening to WBNS in Columbus. " All the signs are pointing to Chip returning ."
This might be BDN's greatest under wraps operation. Still believe.

Chip Kelly is off the menu fellas. Wilson says he wants to stay as OC in tOSU but that there was interest on our end. Nick Caley is the leading outside candidate. He’s not getting the Bucs job cuz Bowels is gonna go in house with a promotion. CJs tablet holder is the leading in house candidate.

Edit: Only Jerrod and Lazor have had in person interviews. Everyone else was Zoom. Believes a decision won’t come till next week. Feels it’s gonna be Jerrod as OC and Pops Nepo spawn as OL coach. This would be a effing disaster.

Dam it, I wanted Chip but I get it, he just won a National Championship and seems like he is having fun. So, there are quite a few interviews with people who don't have the WOW factor or star power and I will trust Nick and Co will pick the right person even if I have no clue how they will do. I heard on 610 this am and they talked about the Asst O Line coach getting promoted which I think is a bad idea, anyone who had anything to do with the O Line should be gone.................now that might be short sighted of me, we have all had bosses who were idiots and we would override them if we could BUT I would prefer to flush the entire staff

While I am guessing that Aaron is correct about Chip not coming, I would take what he says about the Texans’ thinking or their future moves with a grain of salt. He has not been great at that stuff since Easterby left, most infamously reporting that Demeco wouldn’t be interested in the Texans job. I think he also initially reported that Jimmy Ward didn’t have any interest in the Texans, and this year he seemed to whiff pretty hard at times on players returning from injury.

The longer this goes on the more I feel like its going to be Jerrod at oc and possibly Grant Udinski as the new qb coach with Bill Lazor retaining his role as offensive assistant. I hope I'm putting the reverse jinx on it when I say, I think that's gonna fukhing suck

I really don't care who they get if they don't fix the OL.

Great we're going to continue the Kubahan scheme with Patriots rejects teaching the blocking assignments. 32nd Oline ranking here we come.

seriously. Could be the greatest offensive mind, but it's pretty much moot if the OL is still abysmal.

I remember back when the Eagles were the hot coaching commodity, everyone wanted Steichecn, Gannon, and then they had the QB coach Brian Johnson and people thought he might be the actual mind behind it or something.

I never followed him, did he suck? doesnt look like hes an OC anymore if he did go on to become one.

Eagles fans call him predictable and bad a situational play calling. Lots of screens. Also eagles fans say Sirrianni overrode his play calls so who knows how much he sucked.

The more critical Eagles fans say the problems from last year still exist but Saquan has covered up the deficiencies. Those opinions get down voted fast by the eagles fan base on Reddit.

Edit. Eagles fans are all in agreement tho that he’s a fantastic QB coach tho.
