The Grizzlies have made an enemy today.

 

Yup, young, immature team making young, immature mistakes. We’d gotten away with it a lot this season but at some point you reap what you sow.

Still remember game 1 against Charlotte - got a big lead then got complacent and started chucking threes until the other team came back and won.

 

Yeah that was a obvious foul in the back that wasn't called. I hope Amen is okay.

 

Hate that we lost it at the very end.
We have won too many close games lately, we were due for a letdown. Fred was garbage in the last 2 minutes, but we had a good couple of chances to get some distance but the shots wouldn't go in, or we rushed it and thought we will pull off the W regardless.
A loss to set us straight, and to teach us not to play with fire. You build a 10+ point lead, learn to effing keep it.

 

he saves his turnovers for crunch time in the 4th when the team desperately needs a basket. So much for being your go to scorer when the coach can't even put the ball in your hands whenever the clock hits 3:00 in the fourth.

 

Shooting desperate 3 when you only losing 1 pt is stupid.

He had a turnover once in the baseline and one on a fast break attempt. Any half court set where he was running the offense in the fourth he was perfectly fine. Drawing fouls, setting up teammates like Brooks who missed etc.

 

This loss doesn't really hurt that much for me, especially when the refs shafted the Grizz with the timeout call.

Rockets competed hard, blew a late lead with some dumb plays, but their record is 32-15, which is still 2nd best in the west.

 

He is unreliable in the clutch anyway

Actually, he's very good in the clutch but unreliable in the beginning of games.

 

I just went back and looked...FVV is releasing the ball with 4 secs left....and Tate and Tari were unguarded on the left side...I mean Aldama is looking at Tate and Tari helplessly. They have clogged the middle in anticipation of Amen go to the hole like before.But, FVV never was passing the ball...he gets it with 5.5 takes a couple of dribbles and up it goes. The 3 pt. shot the possession before was released with 2.4 secs left.

 

I feel like Alpi being there makes it way easier for ever to generate offense in important possessions though. Simply by virtue of him needed to be covered at all times. I do agree with you that if we had Fox instead of FVV on the same contract, we’d be even more fun, but I feel like that ship has sailed now

 

Jalen is 10th in the league in clutch points. people who criticize Jalen literally have no clue these stats are getting tracked.

I mean I understand if you hate Jalen but y'all are so stupid calling the 10th most clutch guy a choker and calling 2.5tos a turnover machine. How about take a look at reality first before you post your BS????
