The last two ATO plays were horrendous. The first one especially so. It was just inbound to Fred into an iso stepback 3 over JJJ. Terrible shot. If that’s all the timeout was setting up, give that shot to Jalen. The last play was weak too only because it was just a simple Amen reject the handoff and drive which the Grizzlies saw coming a mile away. That needed to be some sort of Amen/Jalen action.

 

Stop it. You didn't say that the last time we played them when Green closed them out. Jesus, goldfish memory going on here.

 

I blame it all on the BS 3 MEM hit to end the 3rd.

He does have a floater, but he needs to perfect it. Ime is many things, but he needs more developmental coaches along with him.

Did this happen after or before Pippen shoved him from behind? Does Amen have a back issue that I haven't read about?

 

As frustrated as I am with Fred playing hero ball, I still think his overall leadership and poise is a net positive for this team and something that’s needed as we start playing for higher stakes come playoff time.

It’s kind of like Thunder fans with prime Westbrook - you take the good with the bad, he would make dumb errors and take bad shots that frustrate the hell out of you but damn he played his heart out every game like it was his last. Not comparing FVV to prime Westbrook, just two players who you have to take the good with the bad.

You’re right, I just meant that in general his turnover rate seems to spike in close and physical games. I have no statistics to back that up, it’s purely eye test for me.

 

Missed free throw (Green) and missed layup (alley-op) by Thompson and Rockets wouldn’t need that last shot. Very poor execution down the stretch

 

Games like these illustrate why we need Fox. We basically have no reliable offense down the stretch.

 

Zesty ass Pippen Jr cheap shotting Amen in the back screwed us. He wasn't the same after and will probably be questionable next game. b**** ass MF cheap shot.

 

I am serious. Sengun is THE best player on the Rockets, Ja isn't the best player on the Grizzlies...
