I’ll say it — Sengun is better than Sabonis, and it’s not really a question in my mind. Sengun is a much better defender and draws far more gravity. There is more to basketball than counting stats — replace Sengun with Sabonis and we’re a worse team.

You right, they shouldn’t have had one all-star. They should’ve had four like the Atlanta Hawks!

 

He also leads the 2021 class, 2022 class and 2023 class in one of the better stats that tells a player's impact, VORP. (8.5)

Sengun just needs to keep working on his game time will take care of the rest.

 

yes - but just like Curry shouldn’t be a All Star over JG, and Wemby shouldn’t be a All Star over Alpi , Alpi shouldn’t be a All Star over Sabonis - they needed to drop Wemby or JJJ

I also feel they should have picked Powell and JG over Durant and Curry … but since majority of fans voting are idiots here we are

Cade and Mobley making AS appearances before JG when his team is 2nd in West and just swept the best teams in East on the road and part of only team to beat OKC Boston and Cavs (Rockets deserved 2)

Why did this become a battle between Sabonis and Sengun?

Both Sabonis and Sengun are leading their team to wins. The reality is Sabonis should have made it in over JJJ. Its because he is in Sacramento and he gets no respect.

I havent really watched Sabonis besides when the Rox fought them, but Sengun def deserves his all star as his accolades speak for themselves:

1. Top 10 MVP
2. Highest On/Off on the team
3. No 3 in win shares, No 7 in def rating in the league

Sengun gets it done on both ends unlike Sabonis who is an offensive juggernaut but kinda bad on D.

 

He for sure is. Sengun is second best center in the nba.

 

If curry has “sucked” than jalen doesn’t even belong in the g league

 

I understand the Curry pick it’s in SF and fans still love him - but folks can’t pick and choose arguments (based on if it’s their player or not)
