It would be foolish for Stone to not at least be a bidder--if nothing else in order to make San Antonio pay more. Even if you don't want Fox that much, at least offer a couple of FRPs to set a baseline, and if you happen to get him for that price, that's just a win any way you look at it. Turn it into a three team deal and send him out East for some farther-out picks or something if you really don't want him.

you keep forgetting about the new CBA. I hope the Spurs trade their young players and try building around Wemby and Fox. Both will be making $60 mil a year after 2026. Even with the rising cap they will need a star to take a paycut. lol. Good luck with that

Book has evolved into a 2 way player.

Idk where you see that from, booker has an inferior defensive rating to green, so I might be missing something

I'm getting the feeling you are just making stuff up to be some sort of internet correct or something. Or you have bad memory. Either way this is the last time I'll bother responding to you, because you clearly can't seem to comprehend the difference between Shams Charania saying something and whatever random people posts on the internet says.

I believe Antman will be available this summer. Minnesota is having trouble with the team payroll, and they don’t have many assets that could facilitate a trade to improve the team. We should go for Edwards, not Fox.

The only reason Ant becomes available is because he asks for a trade, otherwise Minnesota will figure out how to rebuild around him despite the idiotic moves they've made recently. I imagine that Ant will give it some more time, players are not usually requesting changing teams in their first extended contract.

A Kings fan says Fox was shopping for houses for his family in Texas this summer (allegedly has been wanting to move his family there).

This whole thing is so fishy.

I’m honestly not sure Fox moves the needle that much

If Coby's an above average defender and has more than 1 year remaining on his contract, I'd go Coby. Risky but white seems like a classic case of someone who can take a big leap soon after joining a winning culture.

Yeah he’s a Spur and I’m not big on paying Fox crazy money either so pass.

I would only add that the rockets should drive that price up as much as possible and bid to get the spurs to deplete as much of their war chest as possible.

Fox wants to win. The only team that fits the bill with what he wants as well as having assets to get him is the Rockets. The Spurs don’t have the squad yet. Miami wouldn’t have enough to win either.

He's a much better fit with Amen/Green. High volume good shooter. Passer. Plays multiple positions. Tall for a guard.

Wonder if bulls still shopping him.

I wouldn’t say much better fit, but he’s definitely more intriguing to me.
