I'm going out on a limb that Sengun will not be in the Top 8 of MVP votes.

Edit: Though I would enjoy it if Sengun goes on a run and ends up being in the Top 8 in MVP votes.

 

If the coaches vote him in, it won’t be for charity.

They know who they game-plan for when they see the Rockets.

 

I would be super happy for Sengun. If he doesnt make it though i would think it would really light a fire under everyone. 3 Cavs 2 Lakers etc and no Rockets. yeah lol

That MVP ladder you are referencing quite literally does not matter in the slightest. It’s essentially just one person’s random list of names for the award.

 

I feel good that Sengun is gonna make the All Star team tonight strictly because he got hoed last year. They’ll make it up to him this year. Otherwise him or Jalen really don’t have that good of a case. The team record is doing a hell of a lot of lifting.

you are correct it is what it is - Alpi is amazing for what we ask him to do - is he a All Star over Sabonis (no) is he a MVP candidate (no) but he’s a huge market draw (Turkey) and he is a key piece to the team but not as big as others you named
