Could be trying to get a little insight on Chip Kelly? Maybe gathering some things they learned from him? How their relationships were with him?

Only problem is if he’s too good he’ll end up being a HC. Hopefully we can get a title out of it.

He ain’t getting another gig. Owners want a lean fit HC. Unless you’re Andy Reid, the era of the big boi HC is over.

Keep hearing by the end of the week. Hopefully that's right so he can throw CJ the playbook.

Still hoping for Kelly. Don't want another OJT situation.

I want immediate results. While that's more likely with experience, every good one has had a first time.

I think it’s between 3 candidates (no particular order)

    1) Chip Kelly - Demeco obviously likes him. I’m usually against hiring an old guy, too many NFL coaches live in the past and just go from team to team. But Chip has always been an innovator, so it doesn’t concern me as much. My only concern is his reputation from some of his former NFL players.

    2) Jerrod Johnson - I honestly don’t know much about him, but it seems like they viewed him as a possible replacement for Bobby when he was in danger of being hired away. I don’t think coaching under Bobby necessarily disqualifies him, he could have a totally different mindset. The Vikings coaching tree is one of the better ones. If CJ likes him I’m fine with it (I have no clue if CJ does or doesn’t)

    3) Nick Caley - My preference is always to go with coordinators who coaches under Have I trust. McVey and the Rams are pretty good at spotting coaching talent and cultivating them. Downside is if he works out, could be a hot head coach candidate. Just gotta trust he lays a foundation behind that continues his philosophy.
