He made CJ sound like a diva. I’m not buying the “he jumped in Bobby’s face during the pre draft meeting”. I could be wrong but that doesn’t seem like his personality.
I have a difficult time imagining Slowik talking like that to Stroud with a straight face. Lance is a great story teller though. The best.
Lance knows how the game works. He's just trying to get his name out there. That's all that matters to these sports talk radio hacks.

What? LOL the talk of CJ and Slowik was known before we drafted him. There was talk he might not want to come to Houston because of this situation. Not sure how many people remember this but we definitely talked about this here. CJ has said multiple times that him and Slowik had a great relationship throughout the time the both of them were here. That could mean CJ was just trying to keep everything in-house. What good does it make it to let the world know you have rift with your OC while you're trying to win a Superbowl? We know how the Texans or any organization work. As far as Lance trying to make a name for himself? He was just inducted into the Texas Radio HOF.
Yeah I remember Stroud saying, "I didn't think they would want me." after his visit. But what I don't believe is Slowik going full Teapot mode
My problem is, if they knew they were going to fire Slowik, why not do it early and let Jerrod Johnson finish the season calling plays?
