I have been saying this for years, but for some reason Republicans are against fining the hell out of the companies. I don't mean performative fines. I mean fines that hurt. Immigrants come here for jobs. Eliminate companies hiring illegals and you eliminate the reason for them to come here illegally.
Two things can be true at the same time. Of course companies using cheap illegal immigrant labor is a major part of the problem. I'm all for going after those companies and having a massive overhaul of our immigration system. I also think it is a reasonable position to feel very angry that people with no legal status in this country have committed horrible crimes and it shouldn't be happening. No, immigrants aren't some ultra violent group, but it's frustrating when people who should not legally be here hurt Americans.
Statistically mass deportations will make us less safe assuming we are replacing that labor by increasing birth rates of American women. Here is why. We live in an economy where almost anyone here at 2 am and has the munchies can go to a convenience store within a 5 mile radius that is fully staffed and fully shelved. This is not normal for human civilization. This type of economy aka "the treat economy" requires a certain birth rate to sustain. American women have a lower birth rate than required to sustain such an economy. So we replace that deficit with migrant labor. And the migrant labor coming in has a lower violent crime rate than American born citizens which means if you replace this migrant labor pool with new Americans born and raised you'd increase the crime rate. The irony of your rhetoric is that it allows for easier exploitation of migrants labor. The goal of the hate rhetoric that your ilk spreads in regards to migrants is not rhetoric used to justify deportations. Its used to create the fear of God into migrant labor. Make sure they don't speak up when abused and exploited. The goal is to make illegal immigrants as unsympathetic of a group as possible. Hence language like "foreign invaders". Literally the segment the Trump administration is trying to use to deny birthright citizenship by claiming that an active foreign invasion can nullify birthright citizenship. Its loony tunes rhetoric. See, here's the thing. 99.99% of Americans have never had a negative interaction with a illegal immigrant. They often don't even know that someone they are interacting with is not a legal resident. This results in a great situation for the current admin to show a show of force through televised Dr. Phill accompanied (yes this actually is happening) ICE raids to put the fear of God into the current pool of migrant labor. And any promises of deporting 20 million humans not being kept will go unnoticed from the maga base because their social media algorithms will tell them there are mass deportations happening with sensationalized raids. Great for the capital owners of our society. Create a class of humans who are too afraid to speak up if their basic labor rights are violated because they fear deportation the moment they speak up. Even worse a lot of bosses take advantage of that fear and rape migrants laborers knowing they won't say anything. My biggest fear is the promise of 20 million deportations is half kept... As in they aren't actually deporting but converting 20 million humans into prison laborers to create an indentured servitude class. That is the worst case scenario. Labor camps.

From a violent perspective, you're willing to allow drug dealers, thieves, pimps, human traffickers, rapists and murderers to come into our country illegally and threaten, attack, rape, torture, and terrorize American citizens in order to give our jobs to the peaceful illegals. This is terrible. You should think of your fellow Americans before you think of the poor Columbians, Mexicans, Nicaraguans, and others. From a peaceful perspective, you would feel very differently if your employer fired you and replaced you with an illegal alien employee.... followed by months of unemployment as you realize that other employers in your field are doing the same and you can't compete with the illegal labor force. And, from a violent perspective, you would feel very differently if your name was Jason Riley and you got to spend the rest of your life knowing that, when your daughter went for her morning jog, a Venezuelan illegal alien attacked her, raped her, and beat her to death. You're not thinking of your fellow Americans first... and you should.

I'm the type of person who judges someone by rhetoric rather than what party they said they supported. You believe illegal immigration is crime and safety problem. That makes you part of the hate rhetoric I'll that makes life less safe for migrants.
Is it worth it? Is it worth having illegal aliens kidnap our daughters and force them into sex labor? Having them flood us with fentanyl, cocaine, and meth? Having them attack, rape, and kill our daughters? Should we tolerate that so that we can give our labor jobs to the peaceful illegal aliens and push our American workers into unemployment because all the mechanic jobs and welding jobs are going to illegals? Is that good for America? Is it worth it? If your daughter was Joceyln Nungaray, a 12-year old girl who was attacked by two illegal aliens, raped by both, strangled to death, and dumped into the bayou... how would you answer my question about whether it's worth it? I'm conservative and I'm all for this. Companies should absolutely be penalized harshly for hiring illegal aliens.

Surely, you must know the illegal aliens who come here are incredibly poor and inflate the lower class. .... and where does the majority of crime and violence come from? The lower class. The right way: control the quantity and quality of immigrants that we allow into the Us, dramatically reducing the criminal element and giving peaceful families a path toward becoming an American. The wrong way: let anybody into the US - the good, the bad, and the ugly; have no control on the vast quantity and low quality of immigrants that come here, and suffer the consequences.
Democrats know this, as stupid as their laws are they aren't stupid.. This is why they don't live anywhere near the illegal immigrants they welcome here. Their goal is not to help the less fortunate achieve a dream they don't have in their own country, the goal was to take advantage of the false Trump is racist rhetoric and push it to 100 while the country suffers but they get richer. Most Democrats are relatively in line with that still. To MAGA, any amnesty is unacceptable. Refugees are unacceptable. They claim Democrats want nothing but open borders, when Obama and Biden sent millions of people back. Democratic leadership then just goes off on criticizes everything about MAGA whether right or wrong. It ends up being a divisiveness that makes the compromises that would make the majority of American happy seem impossible.
Plenty of crime from the wealthy class too, they just have an easier time getting away with it, and there are a lot fewer of them.
