Are you being sarcastic? I think everyone was hoping Scoot or Brandon would drop to 4th. And if they didn’t it was a toss up between Amen and Cam as to who the board wanted. Unbelievably lucky that it ended up being Amen for us, he’s the superstar we were all hoping to find in the draft. And we still got Cam which no one would have expected.

This is just a theory. Kobe's last championship was in 2010. Amen was only 6 years old or something. Dillon was like 15 or something. Dillon has totally been schooling Amen talking about Kobe and his all around game all the time. That's totally why during the post game interview he is talking directly to Dillon about feeling like Kobe. Don't love the Lakers or anything but LOVE the guys trying to play to the Kobe level. Thanks for listening. RIP Kobe.

Amen Thompson will be a Superstar in the NBA! There is no doubt about that! He is an Elite Defender, he start also to be an Elite Offensive Player! This guy will be the game changer in beeing a real Contender! Houston is a dangerous Team now! I think Houston can win the Championship this year! There is no reason why not!

I hope we get Ausar at some point. Id trade tate for him.

Pistons dont know what theyre doing with him and they need to get Holland on the floor more anyways.

Don't give me the excuse of sarcasm when I was actually just dumb...For some reason I had the memory that after we picked Amen, lots of people were super high on his potential. Going back and rereading the threads, that was absolutely not the case

He can become unstoppable once he increases the range on his mid range shots along with more corner 3's. Amen has an excellent teardrop. He should use this, whenever he gets the opportunity.
I'm glad his passing is improving and his defense is almost always awesome.

Yeah I’d say he’s the most untouchable, much more than Jalen or Sengun.

A superstar like Amen Thompson is very easy to build around too. Him emerging like this gives the front office much more options going forward in how they want to construct the roster, and also makes some guys who we might have seen as untouchable, all of a sudden be expendable for the right price.

I actually preferred Ausar to Amen in that draft. Yeah.

Funny thing is that Ausar will owe Amen endorsement money because of his play and attention because the media generally group them together.

I dont think anyone was that high in Miller though, Scoot definitely.

Amen becoming deadly from the middy.

    Would be a big deal.

I can't remember anyone wanting Brandon Miller. It was largely split between Amen and Scoot. I cheered when Miller went #2.
