When Jabari comes back, where is he going in the rotation?

I don't think there's any force in the world that would make Ime bench his buddy Brooks, so it really comes down to who he likes more, Jabari, or Amen. One will have to come off the bench if there isn't some kind of trade before that to change things.

I think the way to spin it is to have Jabari come off the bench to "ease his way back" and then just keep it permanent.

Back in the starting lineup. At least for this year, him being first man off the bench and getting to dominate lesser second units is better for the team as a whole. We need our shooters with Sengun. And Jabari rn is better at defending 4s given his extra height.

This move reminds me of Draymond getting the starting spot over Lee. I hope that we follow the same trajectory as GSW did.

Bari starts and Brooks is off the bench.

Bari is the future and the importance of his development and talent far exceed Brooks.

We are ahead of schedule record wise but we are looking at the long term.

I'm not surprised. After coming back, Jabari played one good game followed by 3 bad games. But he'll still play significant minutes backing up the 4-5 spots, especially with Tari and Adams not playing full-time.

Good. Keep him on the bench. Gaslight Jabari and every other GM that he is nothing more than a bench player. Until.... we sign him for way below $$ than expected. Put him back in the starting lineup after he signs.

I would've been shocked if Amen went back to the bench. Thought it would shake out this way for a while now.

I am still surprised and think it’s a potential big mistake, though depends on minutes.

This is clearly the right decision. There was no way Udoka could pull DB out of the starting lineup with Jabari struggling so much.

Don't worry about him getting enough minutes. Jabari will be given extra slack because they need him to work the kinks out before the playoffs.

Watching him struggle so much against the Spurs took away some of the joy of the win.

He's still playing a lot of minutes, starting minutes, and finishing games so I don't think he minds. He does get up more shots coming off the bench, which is what we want to see, him shooting with more confidence. I think it's fine, I doubt he's going to be mad about it when he's playing 30+ minutes a night still and closing out games.

The important thing is that the defense is starting to return to the team.

Jabari wishes to be Thad Young right now. Hell we would too.

Kind of shows how politics come into play as well. It's been pretty obvious that Amen should start for a while now. Took a Jabari injury for him to earn the starting nod.

Jabari played 38 minutes off the bench in his first game back a week ago. Playing time won't be an issue.

I trust Ime but I would have liked FVV coming off the bench. I think Amen needs to be the starting PG, to set the pace of the game. Jabari needs to be our interior defender and set the tone there.

I LOVED the lineup of JG, Amen, Brooks, Jabari and Sengun

    However, I'm just a fan
