I don’t think Amen is making Jabari expendable at all… I think on the contrary long term I see Jabari as the better fit at the 5. That team with all that versatility will be insane.

Not saying I want to trade Sengun (we do need him to facilitate our half court offense) but late in games when we are trying to slug out wins I wish we had Jabari playing heavy minutes at the 5 and when he puts on a few more pounds I love his potential to be that Horford/Bosh type of center for this team.

Bring Bari off the bench the rest of the season and this Summer we gotta evaluate Sengun quite a bit. If he is going to continue to be a liability on D nightly that you have to try and hide, I wouldn’t be opposed to shopping him.

If Jabari ends up sitting out all of February, his hinder parts are gonna feel like they're on fire. He better hit the ground running shooting well whenever he does return because as long as Amen, DB and Tari stay healthy, the Rockets may not need him this season.

If the Rockets see themselves as a legit Top 4 team by the trade deadline, it’s hard to see them stand pat and pass on an opportunity to contend. That would mean parting with at least 1 of the core and that would mean it’s between Cam and Jabari. Tari is a no deal as teams will low-ball on him due to health concerns and Jabari will yield a better return than Cam at this point. With the Rockets winning more than expected, I think they will indeed pull the trigger on a trade for a high impact addition.

On the trade market right now, Cam will fetch the Rockets a pack of chewing gum. He'll finish the season on the roster. Same for Jabari.

It's not Amen that makes Jabari look expendable.
It's the lineup itself. The same thing that happened with Sengun last season. This time its against the best competition at the right time of the season.

Lmao Amen is half the line up ....I said it last year....his feel for the game opens up so much.......and Tari also did damage in the first 20 games.

The OTE program was controversial I admit, I thought it was a phony league. Glad they proved me wrong at least.

And the real phony team was GLeague Ignite.

Sheeeeiitt even I’m now questioning if Jabari gets his spot back…still think we need Jabari’s shooting to maximize Şengün offensively in the starting lineup, but you can always keep Şengün in with the reserves and surround him with more shooters after the first 8-10 min.

Jabari is still valuable, you cannot compare a Giannis junior vs a better PJ Washington.

One is potentially super max ....and one is 19-25 million.

Who would y’all even want to trade Jabari for?

An above average 3 and D player that can rebound for…

    I’m keeping Jabari.

I love Fred, but I think his price tag is going to price him out of here soon.

If I was to guess, it’s going to be Amen at PG with extremely heavy usage and more Alperen-hub, along with JG doing what he does.
