Noticed this too but i think it meant more about getting Amen on the center spot to be switchable defending the PnR.

 

9 assists with 1 TO (I think when Holiday reached over and fouled him 5 times). It might not look like it, but Sengun played great. The Celtics were not going to let Sengun get going - they bet on the Rockets missing their shots. Brooks going 10/15 was the answer, and Amen's 13/19 was just special.

A team with someone like Sengun, who can read the defense and make the right pass, combined with players who can step up, hit their shots, and defend at this level, is going to be very, very hard to stop.

Amen’s stat sheet for the month of January. He does EVERYTHING well without having a 3-point shot in today’s game.

 

Need to show out consistently.

but even so Sengun and Green did other things to win like finding open players making plays

If Amen Thompson develops his Game similar to Tyrese Halliburton as a 3 Point Shooter. Create his own dribble and shoot 3 pointers. That will blow everyone away.

Amen Thompson will reach MVP Level quickly.

 

To those that said Amen was a non shooting scrub who played against High Schoolers in OTE, his play this year made y’all look stupid. Real stupid
