Deshaun went in to Arrowhead and beat Mahomes. He also had the team up 24-0 at one point. Unfortunately he ruined his career due to a sexual fetish and Bill O Brien finished off the rest of the Texans.

Give this years Texans a 24-0 lead and i think it would have been a wrap in KC

We saw CJ's body language in many of those games, it looked awful. He was frustrated and I don't think it was just at himself.

The 24-0 was entirely due to the Chiefs undoing, and barely anything that Watson himself did.

    How were those TDs scored

    1. Broken coverage by KC on the first possession, good call by BoB
    2. Blocked punt leading to a TD
    3. Muffed punt leading to the ball inside the Chiefs 10

True, but they also scored TD’s. Something the Texans couldn’t do in Arrowhead this year. Stroud may have played his best game so my finger pointing isn’t that. It’s purely on Slowik for me. Deshaun in his prime(with BoB) with this defense probably beats the Chiefs currently constructed.

BoB was a solid to good coach. He just got in over his head with the GM stuff.

Shady and Desean Jackson mostly. I'm not sure how much I value personality opinions from those two.

Yeah BoB's offense was actually not bad. He developed a gameplan that suited Watson's strengths perfectly. I remember him lighting up his rookie season before he got hurt. We had multiple offensive explosions, dropped 57 on Tennessee, 53 against Atlanta, 42 against Miami, 38 against Seattle etc.

I think Johnson would be just a lateral move at best. I really hope he's not the final guy.

Granted, with a healthy WR core and a decent OL or two, this team could look competent on offense under almost anybody I think. Yet, I still don't want Jerrod.

    Jerrod doesn't really make sense.

Texans fire OC because of a lack of experience then replace him with a first time OC.

They sound bitter asf. Kelce sounded like he bought into what Chip was doing. Dropped weight and subsequently made his first pro bowl in Chips second year. Those two dip sh?ts just sound angry. Demeco also bought in. But then again Demeco doesn’t seem like the type to go party hard after beating the Cowgirls. Bottom line they’re might have been a culture clash during his Philly days. Like the Andy Reid boys will be boys culture and Chips more serious this is your job style.

anyway Lance hand some insight into Bobby and CJ. Very much worth listening too.

According to Lance Zierlein, it was CJ who effectively "ordered the code red" on Bobby. Reportedly, there was a pre-draft meeting where Bobby and CJ got into a pretty heated clash over terminology differences between college and the pros. CJ’s camp was initially against him going to Houston, but DeMeco managed to smooth things over. Last season, Bobby tailored the offense to resemble college concepts to help CJ transition into the NFL. This season, they shifted to Bobby's full playbook, and CJ quickly concluded that Bobby “doesn’t know ball.” The situation soured throughout the season. CJ prefers a veteran play caller who is highly knowledgeable and experienced, because he likes to challenge coaches. A similar scenario reportedly happened at Ohio State, where CJ felt the offensive coordinator didn’t “know ball” and communicated directly with Ryan Day instead. This likely rules out first-time offensive coordinators for him moving forward.

Lance was also adamant that Slowik was coming back, had the Texans passing on Will Anderson for that dude from TCU in his first mock draft that year, and thought that CJ wasn’t getting drafted to Houston, seemingly due to that story you mentioned. He also said that he knew that CJ and Slowik were close, I believe based on Quincy Avery, and now based on new intel he realized he was wrong. I think it’s pretty clear that Lance doesn’t have the best intel on this iteration of the Texans.

Also I listened to the part you mentioned as well and I didn’t take it as Lance saying that CJ ordered Bobby fired, but more that Lance was mistaken about Bobby being safe due to his supposed closeness with CJ. And then I think Lance hypothesized that CJ might’ve played a role in Bobby getting fired based on all of that info. However I was listening to it at work so I might’ve misunderstood what he was saying and if so I apologize.

All I know is that there shouldn't be a camera for sports talk hosts unless they're hot chicas. Lance trying to give himself another eye infection live.
Ain't nobody got time for that
