You could also put people on ignore if you don’t like being called out for being an ass. Then again, if you don’t mind it, carry on and quit being a sensitive baby about being an ass.

Of course, the other possibility is that you enjoy being an ass, you enjoy responding to people calling you out for being an ass, and that is actually why you post.

That's interesting that all 3 are projected for summer of this year. Even if all don't make it, you have to figure at least one will make it.
Wonder what that means for current roster.

Here’s the problem: the ignore feature only does so much. I’ve had your trolling inane ass on ignore since the first time I saw you post. But now I click on entire pages that have maybe 3-4 posts, because the other 20-22 are “ignored”, and the posts I do see are nonsensical to me because they’re just replies to posts by ****ing idiots I’m ignoring. If this were a bar, you would’ve either been thrown out or had your ass kicked long ago.

To me the best infield defense is, most likely: (R-L) Walker, Paredes, Pena, Bregman.

There are 3 gold glovers at their best positions there. Paredes is most likely better than Altuve eventhough he may not be good.

The question for me is, do they go all in on Altuve in LF and Paredes at 2b in order to get them as much playing time and reps as possible, or do they move back when other players get off days or are hurt?

The Astros and Cardinals have recently had discussions about several players - one of which was Nolan Arenado. The only other names that I know were discussed is Nolan Gorman and the pitcher Fedde.

Just give LF to Deznezo and CF to Melton and try to get Vedugo on a one-year pillow to play RF.

So two players where we have plenty of MLB capable players already. Sounds really stupid.

A leak like this seems to be an attempt to beat Boras at his own game... I like it.

Gorman and Fedde for Paredes might not be a bad trade. Gorman is probably better defensively at 2B than Paredes and more likely to be able to move to LF. Fedde and Paredes make similar money this season to that part is a wash. Astros would really have to believe in Gorman as a big time hitter for it to make sense.

    Can Gorman play RF?

He would be a great addition. Where would Arenado play?

Gorman would be an upgrade to what they currently have and Fedde would be their 7th inning guy.

Fedde is a SP. He threw 177 quality innings last year and put up 3.4 fwar. He would solidify Houston’s rotation with Garcia/McCullers expected to be out. He’d be their #3 SP and shift guys like Wesneski to the pen.

Why would we still be talking about Arenado? Hard Pass - end of discussion.

Do they really think Paredes or Altuve can move to left field? They really seem to be interested in 3rd baseman.

Yeah and I don't know the context of those discussions - and who the Astros would be trading to St. Louis. So, it is really hard to know what the thought process would be. Fedde makes sense as a middle of the rotation innings eater at a reasonable cost - so I get why there would be interest in him. As for Gorman, I remember him starting out strong in the big leagues, but he really struggled last year. He has obvious upside with the bat but far from a guarantee.
