My understanding of his post is that he wants to stop spending money on anything and anyone that is not an American. Stop sending aid out to Ukraine. Stop providing shelter to immigrants and ship their asses out of here. Etc. It's the reason Trump talks to him, because he believes that the reason our economy is not prospering is because we are spending American dollars on non-US citizens. In fact, he's probably mad about it like many MAGA supporters.

I can see a legitimate gripe about it, but at the same time, you can't be a superpower if you don't swing your dick all over the place. Sure, Trump wants NATO to pay their fair share, wants to close down military bases and stop spending on countries that don't spend as much as the US, but being an isolationists is going to cause countries to seek support elsewhere. It's like the trade agreement Obama put in place prior to leaving office and Trump then withdrawing from it. Those countries then went to work with China on an agreement.

People in the rust belt especially feel this since their jobs were shipped out to countries that could manufacturer much cheaper or jobs were replaced by automation. There is really no bringing a lot of those jobs back, however, if we can incentivize companies to come back and do business here rather than overseas, then we can maybe create the manufacturing jobs we need here in the states. If COVID taught us anything, is that it is stupid to rely on the rest of the world for critical products we need at home. Joe Biden killed it with the CHIPS act, super underrated move.

Of course. It is part of their culture to believe that any country that is ever Muslim is Muslim forever. It is an explicitly expansionist society/philosophy/religion (not unlike Christianity).

    Easy solution: three part policy.
    1. Deport all illegal immigrants.
    2. Eliminate minimum wage laws.
    3. Eliminate welfare.
Illegals are deported, prices stay the same, debt reduced. You're welcome, America.

If you eliminate welfare then the disabled community will have to work like a Mexican or starve. You're welcome America. I don't care if you have ALS, finish my porch Carl.

Hey, Carls starving 6 year old, pick up a god damn shovel, too.

I read an interesting comment by a German scientist who is trying to understand why leftists so desperately insist on bringing in illegal immigrants.

His argument is that the reason is the Marxist background of leftists. They desperately need classes of "victims" to justify their own ideology. Karl Marx himself had the "proletariat" which allegedly got exploited by the "ruling class". Today's neo-marxists have immigrants as "victims" they need to "protect", to feel good about themselves. The leftists aren't importing millions of "refugees" out of true compassion, but because they need "victims" for their ideology to continue to exist. Same with transgender people, etc.

It's not actually about the people they pretend to protect. You can see how quickly leftists turned against women and also against "normal" gay people, as soon as they find people whom they place higher on their imaginary totem pole of victimhood. For some obscure reason, Muslims are really high on that totem pole for the leftists. Doesn't matter how many people get murdered in the name of the "religion of peace", leftists will remain steadfast in their commitment to that unholy alliance.

Your libertarian wet dream is not happening...but here's mines:

Peg the federal minimum wage to inflation...
Further regulate firearms according to the correct interpretation of the 2nd amendment...
Expand the Supreme Court and other lower courts to reflect the current population increase over the past 100 years...
Overrule Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission...
    Medicare for All...

    Very serious question:

Isn't it better to keep individuals healthy by providing them with adequate healthcare rather than waiting for them to come to the hospital in serious condition thus leading to spending a **** load more money?

Also, the fed pays for 50 percent and California pays the other 50 percent. The state can still provide medicaid if they wish to do so.

It is, but precisely the population you are talking about is even more difficult to engage for prevention purposes than the average member of the general population already is.
