Hold on. You’re moving the goal posts. 4th downs is a completely different deal. I do think teams should be aggressive on 4th down, playoffs or not. The upside to keeping a drive alive and being able to score 7 instead of 3 is pretty significant. Ball control, etc. 2 point conversions are weird. It seems like teams rarely benefit from converting a bunch of 2 point conversions. Chasing them almost always seems to backfire, especially really early in the game. The point another poster made about the eagles could miss an extra point etc kinda highlights the problem with it. Plus, the upside of converting a two point conversion is much smaller than the downside of not converting. Of course, this is context dependent. For instance, the eagles were pretty stupid to go for two at the end of the first half, a conversion made it 10, not getting it kept it a one score game. I simple extra point made it a 9 point game, who cares if the ball was on the one. Of course, it didn’t matter bc the commanders can’t hold onto the ball. I do think teams that are up 7 should go for 2 to make it a 2 score game instead of kicking an extra point to go up 8. Very context dependent, but just blindly going for two, or using this arbitrary 65% logic, which idk, I’m not saying that’s not correct, but I’m skeptical that’s the conversion rate, seems irresponsible. More teams seem to “lose” playoff games then “win”them.
I disagree with this. Daniels actually is a good scrambler and can run really well. CJ is not at his level in terms of running and scrambling in general. But yes, he definitely can’t beat the rush today and gotta give Eagles credit for that.
Honestly, he's played pretty damn good against the best defense in the NFL for a rookie. He hasn't turned over the ball, and he's stayed composed. He also and made some decent runs and scored two touchdowns. If his guys hadn't coughed up the ball over and over and over, or their RB had more than 36 yards they might have had a chance.
I'm late to this thread but I picked the Bills to win today. They and the Ravens have been the best two teams in the AFC for a while. Either one would have beaten KC today. IMO, that opening drive by the Chiefs was a dead cat bounce. Again, I'm late posting here, but those were my thoughts after they scored. If Mahomes proves me wrong again, oh well.
Worthy wasn't close to catching that, why do they have to waste a challenge? Why isn't that just instantly overturned by the quick reviews. So stupid. Of course they gave kc a 1st down anyone on a "penalty" so who cares. Edit - LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
I’ve given up. **** is unwatchable and so predictable, I decided to spend my time more wisely and OFFERED to go get some groceries, and even READ a book, even though I hate reading
Now they call the offsides on Justin Reid on the extra point. Didn't get called both times he blatantly did it against the Texans
Texans showed the Bills something on tape cuz they are running it down the Cheats vaunted defensive line’s throat.
