Wanted to add that I think Houston Cougar Basketball deserves its own section here at Clutch Fans. Probably will never happen. To me I like the Rockets but Houston Cougar basketball is much more enjoyable. Even with the Rockets finally now winning again. Don't understand why on a website where every possible nuance of the Rockets, Astros, and Texans is discussed backwards and forwards but the best sports team in the city IMO is largely ignored. Maybe having its own separate forum would help. Instead of being blended in with possible future NBA prospect and other stuff I am not particularly interested in.
Clutch fans is a Houston based website no? At the very least a College basketball forum. I remember once many years ago I attempted to start a new thread and was blasted by one of the other posters, maybe one of the administrators, I don'r recall which. They closed my thread and moved my post. I just think it is time for Cougar basketball and their fans to get more respect.
Real talk: outside of 20 or so posters nobody cares about HS/College/Intl basketball outside of how it affects the Draft. Thus we have this subforum, do you really need another one?
Clutch fans is Houston based sports forum right? That may be true that there are only 20 or so that post under the subforum Cougar Basketball. If Astros or Texans were crammed into a subforum I think you would see a similar lessening of posters. There are literally thousands of Cougar basketball fans scattered around in the 7 M Houston metro area. There are other forums, one in particular with a similar name to this one, that have almost as much intensity among their posters during a live Cougar game as you see during a Rocket game. It's a shame we can't make it happen here. I think they could do so it if they wanted to and it would not take anything away from Rocket basketball the primary benefactor of this forum. May even bring some more posters this way.
There's a subforum called "Football: NFL, College and HS" and it works for Various "NFL HS and College" things. I don't understand why the NBA Draft Forum (rename it!) isn't, or can't be, the same thing
Fran is right. Mylik Wilson's improvement over the last year has been remarkable. He was driving to the basket like Stanley from the office last season and now he's taking over games in Allen Fieldhouse. 18 points in 24 minutes last night. He's come a long way.
