I read somewhere the Bulls actually offered us the 3rd pick in that draft for Ralph Sampson. In other words the Rockets could have had Olajuwon and Michael Jordan. I don't know if there's any truth to it, but its fun to think about it if "what ifs" are your thing.
Jordan-Drexler-Olajuwon on the same squad, early in their careers would've been the most guady, high-flying athletic show ever put together. idk.... Spud Webb, Jordan, Drexler, Rodman, Olajuwon? All athletic late 80s team?

Michael Cooper and several of the Lakers were snorting so much coke that they burnt the cartilage out of their nose. Whole league knew it. Many other players on other teams doing the same during this years. No suspensions. That team looked like a championship team until the suspensions. Makes you wonder.
