While I'm good with the departure, the 'regression' of Seven doesn't happen if every team didn't pick up how awful this line was at blocking stunts. Into the Green Bay game, Stroud still the 3rd leading passer with a 99 rating and no Nico.

Slowik never had a say on who they brought in for that IOL or why Green just automatically got the job at LG. That has to be fixed immediately.

I think this is the right move. The offense was often stagnant in 2023, as well. I think Slowick just did not have enough experience designing offenses and responding to defensive adjustments.

FYI, Chip Kelly’s OL coach when he was with the Eagles was Jeff Stoutland, who Pederson and now Sirianni retained. He may be the best OL coach in the NFL.

If they somehow land Kelly and Stoutland… wow.

This is why you give DeMeco the long term deal, he's a real leader, he's going to hold guys accountable. Besides two drives the offense looked like **** against the chiefs, but it looked like **** all year. Boneheaded play calls, poor route combinations and CJ's regression, that is squarely on Bobby.

As much as pancakes blabs about nothing most of the time… I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to this.

Damn I’m sick and was playing a little Diablo 4. Log off and find out Bobby is fired.

Are you saying you need to play more Diablo 4 for the Texans to make good moves? If so, please keep playing.

Ryan Day? Would he leave a national champion to be an OC?

Perhaps splitting hairs - but I don’t think this was a front office decision: this feels like a DeMeco Ryan’s decision. He was PISSED after the game and offered almost no support of Bobby in his year-end press conference.

Hopefully the next OC will be more flexible and pay attention to detail.

The little things the offense screwed up on really hampered the team this year.

Pederson’s teams have a reputation for being sloppy and undisciplined. He’d have to come with a REALLY good, experienced OL coach.

I was ready to move on since last season, but didn't think the Texans would be this soon.

Color me surprised, the front office isn't waiting around anymore. Saw the problem and is addressing it.

Guess it's time to look around at who's out there. Wasn't Chip Kelly hated by players when he was a head coach? Maybe he'd be better as an OC?

They have a certified weapon in Stroud and hope whoever they bring in can use him, and get a blocking scheme that can cover rushers.

Also would love to be able to get lined up be able to snap the ball before the time expires. Seemed like it took a while for plays to come in at times.

Chip Kelly makes base $2 mil per year and signed a 3yr contract with tOSU. We’re gonna have to offer at least $2.5 mill and possibly deal with a buy out, not totally sure. But Chip ain’t gonna be cheap.
