Swapping Tucker and Singleton for Paredes and Walker in the everyday lineup is a net improvement. Factor in a bounce back for McCormick and OF help from the farm early in the season in the form of Melton or Dezenzo, and this team could be totally stacked if they get some luck.

If they sign Bregman, they have no hope of keeping Skubal past the next two seasons. Not only that, but Bally Sports dropped the Tigers’ local broadcast contract when they entered bankruptcy in October and they were forced to sign a reduced deal with FanDuel Sports Network Detroit for this season.
