I trust this front office but Altuve being the everyday LF sounds ridiculous. My guess would be that Altuve is telling them he’d be willing to do it to soften up Paredes to be ok playing LF. To me it makes zero sense to put a weak-armed aging superstar who’s only ever played 2B in LF. But give me these lineups and let’s ****in roll: Vs RHP: 2B Altuve 3B Bregman DH Alvarez 1B Walker LF Paredes C Diaz CF Melton SS Pena RF Trammell Vs LHP: 2B Altuve SS Pena DH Alvarez 3B Bregman RF McCormick 1B Walker LF Paredes C Diaz CF Meyers
Hunsicker never asked Biggio to move to the outfield before signing Kent... he just assumed Biggio would do what was needed.
I would be surprised if he is back. I know he never wanted to leave - but if he wanted the Astros offer, he would have likely taken it before mid January.
Pressly should be thinking about one thing only right now, and that's where's the best place he can go that can maximize his next contract? Houston obviously may not be it as the Astros can easily demote him to spot duty here and there if he's lax on his attitude at all.
My guy, Ryan Pressly is a World Series champion who was absolutely nails and crucial to winning said championship. He arguably could’ve been WS-MVP. He deserves some respect for what he has done
