Leftists said Trump was a puppet of Putin. Where is the evidence of that?

The evidence of that was his first term and the fact that he couldn't say he hoped Ukraine would win the war.

He hasn't done anything to show he isn't Putin's puppet. The war is still going on contrary to his claim that it would be over in 24 hours. He hasn't added any kinds of sanctions. All he has done is talk about it.

lol now Trump has to prove a negative. Classic.

So, if Trump does impose new sanctions on Russia will you then concede he is not Putins puppet or will some new arbitrary benchmark be imposed?

I never thought Trump was Putin’s puppet, just another dictator that Trump admired.

    To be clear though:

Trump had no issue exchanging campaign info with the Kremlin during the 2016 election.

Congress is the one who actually enforced sanctions on Russia for their role in the 2016 election, not Trump.

MAGA under Biden has been holding up Ukrainian aid.

Trump hasn’t come close to ending the war and there’s really not much more room to add more sanctions/ tariffs to Russia.

He doesn't have to prove a negative. He claimed the war would be over in 24 hours. It hasn't ended. Trump is the one that brought up the idea of new sanctions. I didn't place that condition on him. He is the one that suggested he would. If Trump does impose new sanctions, we'd have to see what those sanctions were, and how much he worked with allies and other nations to get them on board with sanctions to be more effective. But it is possible that he could prove that he wasn't.

Leftists like you claimed Trump was Putins puppet.

Trump, so far, has directly threatened Putin with additional sanctions and tariffs.

Has Trump threatened Ukraine with sanctions? Has Trump attempted to aid Putin with war materials? Intelligence? Economic relief? End Sanctions?

He could have done those things right?

But here we are and none of that is present.

Weird for Putins "puppet" to act this way isn't it?

We could… but the new sanctions imposed by Biden made it harder for Russia to make money off oil and gas.

Sinking tankers full oil might not be a great PR look.

Hard to deny Trump was kissing Putin’s ass when he publicly went with Kremlin intelligence over US intelligence.

You conservative ideologies seem to be Trump like in your admiration for dictators, especially the Christian Nationalist types.

Just like rightists, Trump is just weak with a fragile ego.

Was that sucking up or just good old incompetence?

I hear that Trump is OLD and INFIRMED ... can barely stay awake in afternoon meetings.

    I hate afternoon meetings.
    Especially when lunch is involved.
At least the meetings are shorter now that we have eliminated the DEI moment and spotlight.

Here is where the rubber meets the road.

    Trump said
    • that in 24 hours he would solve the Russia Ukraine war
    • that he would bring down the cost of everyday items
    • that he reduce the price of energy by 50% (not sure WTF that mean, half the price of gas)
    • that he would build a wall and that Mexico would pay for it

Trump says a lot of ****. He follows through on some and not others.

This is Trumps MO. Happened the first time around, and it will happen again.
I think the end is getting close in Ukraine.

Way back in the day my divorce lawyer told me if neither party is happy with the outcome, I have done my job.
