Completely. Some people just don't get it... Diversity isn't bad. Diversity is good. What's bad is... compromising requirements and standards for the purpose of diversity. Why is that such a difficult thing for people to understand?
I’ve come to realize that DEI is a problem in society. I think there was a place for it and its place was a long time ago. I have this guy that works for me and he is interviewing for a promotion next week. There is a six person panel that interviews him. The owner of the company, the chief of operations, head of HR And then another operations representative. All for those people make sense. Also, on the panel is a minority lesbian and a minority female. These people are both Useful corporate employees But have not really ever worked in operations or done anything remotely close to the job that my employee is interviewing for. There is no other reason for them to be on this panel other than to make it look diverse, and it is very strange to me.
I think this person is refering to the new state department policy that says only the US flag can be flown.
@Salvy @Tomstro I remember when some one said the NHL needed more Black men. obviously these are white people saying this. I’m pretty sure black kids are trying to buy Mario Lemieux gear over Jordan’s …..nah yeah exactly they don’t give a f about hockey That’s why they don’t play it breh this is the same crap for putting transgender black people as elves in video games , black people know elves aren’t black and transgender
I'll take the current guy over Hegseth any day. There is a notably giant difference in qualifications.
Another qualification from the dude on the right is his mother doesn't think he's a serial abuser of women.
actually it's the opposite - Discrimination based on race and religion is now legal in companies with federal contracts Trump just revoked the 1965 Civil Rights era Executive Order which prohibits federal contractors from discriminating on the basis of race, color, religion, and sex. Trump Quietly Scraps Nondiscrimination Rule While No One Is Looking https://newrepublic.com/post/190541/trump-order-nondiscrimination-federal-contractors The president on Tuesday revoked Executive Order 11246, which was signed into law in 1965 by Lyndon B. Johnson and installed antidiscriminatory practices into U.S. federal government contracting. EO11246 prohibited federal contractors “who do over $10,000 in government business” from “discriminating in employment decisions on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.” Welcome back to 1964
That's right. Move out the way old DEI. The new one is here. "DUI egomaniac imbecile" or"DEI Enhanced" is the new way. Or actually it's been the old way but we lost our roots with the woke administration that just left us.
