We can make a deal to get over it if this guy strips all his assets and decides to work a wage labor job for a year without any access to the network of other wealthy talentless humans that back each other up

Just wait until zillionaire Jamie Dimond has to pay 25% more for his avocado toast. Jamie will want to speak to the restaurant manager!!!

It is just like Jamie Dimond is acting like a Coastal Elite. Just like.

Well "duh"....... Trump doesn't give a **** about poor people - he just wants to distract them while he does what he wants economically and systemically.

Reminds me of the wealthy Southern whites exploiting black slaves and poor white people both --- while convincing poor white people that the problem was poor black slaves.

LOL You know what is good for "National Security" not having citizens that are struggling to survive and hate their government........

Jamie Dimon and all the other billionaires know that the biggest wealth grab in modern US history is about to happen, and they want to be at the forefront to profit and not lose their relevance and standing.

I just checked the gas prices at my local gas station. They have not returned to January 2021 levels. Did Trump just forget to make that one phone call that fix gas prices? I hear that OLD, INFIRMED people can be forgetful.

Except more poor people voted for him than rich people. It literally blows my mind that poor people keep voting against their interest.

Hearing the language of all these random billionaire investors in Trump's press conferences and how obvious the glazing is made me chuckle. These dudes have no shame. It's so obvious that these billionaires know how to influence Trump with praise and giving him credit for everything.

That is the thing about Trump. He is the most easily influenced president in our nation's history. He will agree to almost anything if you glaze him first

Trump makes for mo better Reality TV, bro.

    ETA:
The truth is that the working poor don't have anything to lose. Their life is hard. Trump likely will not make their life any easier but he is more entertaining.

Poor people tend to also be busy doing things like working excess overtime to make basic needs. Their touch point to politics is quick algometric feed checks on their favorite platform. The capital owners own those algorithms and those algorithms are great at replacing hatred of capital owners with hatred of powerless groups of people like illegal immigrants and trans people.

Poor people and blue-collar workers were angry more than anything and wanted change --- the status quo was going to lose.

There are so "truthers" that believe that all of these poor people are now wed to Trump and that isn't true --- if things do not improve, they will turn on Trump and support whomever sells them on change. That is what people that are desperate enough do.

He can't get rid of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972 which is a law unless congress wants to get rid of that too.

Yes this is with federal contracts not all employment. It is now legal to discriminate based off color for federal contracts.

Congress doesnt need to get rid of the civil rights act. The DOJ can file a lawsuit claiming the law is unconstitutional and then the supreme court will make that determination. If you have confidence in this supreme court then let me have whatever drugs youre taking cuz they will 100% strike down the civil rights if given the opportunity.

Agreed, I can't prove this, but I think a lot of the "on the fence" voters and voters who simply could not bring themselves to vote for a woman, let alone a Black Woman, wanted change and at the last minute threw their vote for trump thinking "well, he said he would" or "maybe this time will be different"

They wanted change and man o man, they are about to get change. And now that all the tech bros have all bent the knee, they will push lies and disinformation in favor of maga. And the folks who now claim to be "OK" with paying more if it means we can be stronger are in for a rude awakening.............the lower- and middle-class care about putting food on the table, they don't give AF about any of the other nonsense.........they want affordable food, housing and Insurance and a decent wage

no they're probably not (a) because there is no Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1965, and (b) a president cannot "revoke" an act of Congress

It wasn't an act, but was an EO, which he can and did revoke.
