I hate Draymond Green, but throwing an Adams-Eason-Draymond-Dillon-Amen lineup would be amusing as a science experiment.

7 picks for two washed players. One of who is a better podcaster than player, the other can have good shooting nights but struggling to stay healthy at his age.

Also, Suns just went all-in after going all-in, those 2 future Suns picks are gonna be worth a goldmine. This year's swap might drop a bit in value, not a big deal.

I do too. He isn't a good defense player anymore and can't hit an open 3. Dead weight. I can't imagine rooting for him

WTF is with the sports writers wanting to give us geriatric rentals? LOL no. I don't think we should be so desperate to win immediately.

We still have Amen, Brooks, Tari, and Jabari, why would we need them to throw in Kuminga? And this trade means they're rebuilding, making even less sense for them to give away Kuminga.

The advice Bill Simmons must have given KOC on his way out the door was "always troll the Houston fans, that will drive your engagement way up. And their city is sucky anyways, I would know because I visited that one time the Pats were there for the Super Bowl, and I hated it!"

But seriously, KOC went from being the only person at the Ringer actually watching the Rockets seriously, to now being just as bad as Simmons if not worse at denigrating our team, devaluing all our assets, using us as the doormat in every NBA Trade Machine hypothetical, and not taking us seriously in any shape form or fashion in his podcasts. It really feels like he's done a 180 on us, and frankly, it's enough to make me tune out from his podcast until he wants to speak highly of us again. In contrast the Mismatch with Verno and Jacoby have also done a 180 in terms of heaping tons of praise on us whenever they can. Probably because Verno only watches Grizzlies games, and the Rockets have been undefeated against them so far this year lol.

So no. We will not eat green eggs and ham. And we will not be the Nets in KOC's version of the "Boston is trying to completely replenish its cupboard by offloading the corpses formally known as KG and Pierce to the dumbest team in the NBA for the entire future draft capital." KOC can take his Houston hate and shove it. We are no longer best friends KOC, now Sam Vecenie is my best friend.

I suspected the media would run with this and turn the Rockets into the Houston Worriers.

They might just subscribe to the Picks.

Draymond Green at this stage is a negative value contract, they are paying him until his age 36 season at nearly $28M, and hes currently injured. He has averaged about 56 games played the past 5 years, he does not have a lot of value elsewhere in the league. He had value 10 years ago, but has been in decline since. Anyone taking on Draymonds contract should get draft compensation in return, not the other way around.

    Ok, Kuminga and Podeski

Kum at me again and I'll insist on them throwing in a couple of cheerleaders too

Even theoretically…. Leaving out the insane number of picks… trading for Steph right now is a huge gamble. Still a great player but I have concerns about how well his game will age when in a couple years he’s just not going to have the athleticism anymore to get separation. You’ll be paying a ton of money and giving up a lot for a spot up shooter.

He’s 36 folks. Maybe two years left. That’s a very short window. I would rather just take the bet that what you have now with the longer runway that you have more bites at the apple even if those bites aren’t as big.

    Pass.

The final score would be 7-4 Rockets loss, with all 7 of the opponents points coming on technical foul FTs and the Rockets setting a new record with 78 turnovers in one game.

That is why Kevin O'Connor is a bad reporter......he is just throwing feces onto a wall until it sticks.

Also let Steph retire there, it has more sentimental value to them.

Steph is the goat shooter if its just him I'd be ok we basically be a contender for the next 4 yrs as Steph's game isnt dependent on athleticism.

I don't think the Ringer is positioning itself to be a competitor to ESPN or FS1. It's a podcast/blog site with the occasional online article opinion piece. Like Barstool without the bigotry, misogyny, and MAGA culture wars.

When they do try to do like "insider" stuff it comes off as desperate for attention, and kind of undercuts what Bill Simmons, and co are good at which is fun conversations about fun harmless topics.

At it's premise though OConnor here does have an interesting idea, and I appreciate that he isn't insinuating that he's "hearing things" or do the nonsense attention seeking crap that wannabes like Rich Bucher and Broussard would always try to do. Had he done that here it would have set me off. Otherwise it's just a Random Trade Thread idea just on a different site than Clutchfans... which is perfectly fine.

Trade idea is dumb in terms of equity, but as a concept it's fun and harmless to think about. Would be smart for GS to pursue for sure.

We all know that the biggest favorites are 2 teams Clover and Lightning plus the Cavs this year.

Any other team, Curry is doing himself a disservice enraging fans that stood by him for 2 decades.

He would enrage them either way but yeah at least get something out of it.

The Rockets are just not there yet.

I do not really consider trading all of your assets as fun, both for the Rockets and the Warriors.

Basically one side is selling the farm of their players and the other team is selling off all their picks.

I merely consider that garbage journalism to attract eye balls.......not even for a good reason.

And if Jalen Green keeps up his current hot streak, you can bet he'd be writing an entire article detailing his rise given how much he was into Jalen last year. Oh well, can't blame a guy for just cashing checks without having to work. I just find there's a real lack of writers who have both the insider type knowledge but still do real independent analysis and not just be parroting sources. Thought KOC would be someone like that when Ringer first started, but he was a huge disappointment.
