It's too bad all 3 consistently choked in the playoffs. The heroes of the postseason when we finally made runs in 04 and 05 were Oswalt and Berkman.
The Astros have more Hall of Fame members than the Angels, Brewers, Royals, and Mets. Also, more than teams like the Nationals, Rockies, Rays, and Diamondbacks, but that's to be expected. Tied with the Mariners and Rangers...
Yeah but they don't put the vote results on the plaque. That said, how big of a jackass do you have to be to not vote for Ichiro? CONGRATS BILLY THE KID! Strange that he's only our 3rd but awesome that he's getting in.
The last couple weeks leading up to the voting I've heard two different HOF voters (on FS1 radio) say that for them steroids is a bigger issue then sign stealing and they then went on to to talk about the hypocrisy of it all so I think Altuve will get in easier then we think.......
Woody Allen is a pervert, but I can't erase how much I liked Zelig, The Purple Rose of Cairo, Radio Days, etc. Same goes for Beltran. I can't just memory-hole how historically great he was that postseason. That was an all-time run.
I soured on him when Boras made us wait and watch all his potential replacements disappear including our own free agents walk. We could have won in 2005 if we had just one more bat. I guess Keuchel and Bregman situations are payback.
