I will say Cade absolutely got the better of Jalen this matchup, to the point that I feel like Jalen was forcing shots to just not be embarrassed. Ah well, **** happens. I am confident Jalen will get the better of Cade next time

 

My theory that Jalen play well against his draft class has been destroyed. i thought Jalen was going to drop 100 pts

So many games lost to “lesser” opponents. Nothing is easy in this league. But again this is a team they should beat. The mental toughness and experience issue shows here. Rockets Have to be better.

 

Pistons been hooping lately so I ain't mad .. Cade a damn stud ... The offensive rebounding after keeping the ball alive was where the game was lost... Really missed Adams 10 minutes... Sengun looked mentally drained and soft just like he has the last several games

Bickerstaff has Detroit playing hard. Probably a film session sort of game for Alpy/Jalen to see what they were doing. Sengun specifically needs to get downhill more against these Stewart/Duren types that are difficult to move backing into the paint. He had more success when he got a head of steam and was able to lay his body into them.

Couldn't really tell what was troubling Jalen with this particular defense. Couldn't really get downhill and obviously his 3 didn't fall today. They played us hard the first game and again today. Should at least have them fired up vs Cleveland which is a better litmus test. Would call this more of a letdown game than anything. Starting to miss Jabari a little bit though.
