ClutchFans Game Thread: Pistons @ Rockets 1/20/2025

Rockets have done well without Jabari. Specifically defense. However, idk how long they can survive without his presence. Folks really underestimate how much Jabari help on defense. Yes, his offense is all over the place but a 6'11 guy that moves like jabari is rare for defense. Plus you can play him at the 5 when they want to go small ball and stretch the floor.

Jabari can be frustrating at times but the rockets desperately need him back.

 

Sengun has gotten way too comfortable. Ime needs to play mind games with him again.

 

And it made no sense in the context of what was being replied to either

 

Me reading these last few posts about Duren dating a trans (?) and something about Jalen Green’s meat and @DreamShook (even though he said no such thing)

 

Agree with this, be nice to have Jabari back as an option.

 

Nothing real positive to say about game other than no injuries.

 

Terrible game but oh well… not too bothered by it either.

 

I dont get the Sengun was manhandled comments. He got his shots, he missed them. Alpi misses a lot of easy ones but I dont think it was anything the Pistons did. It's every game. Duren started strong but I didnt notice him on the court beyond the 1st quarter.

When Alpi is assertive and aggressive, he is an all star. Unfortunately, he often plays tentative, seems to overthink the play in front of him, and again misses so many easy shots within 10ft of the rim. He will get better but gotta live through the growing pains.

 

The Pistons beat the Rox at their own game. Sucks, and it was shitty to watch, but I’m glad we got this over with so we can forget this game ever happened and move on

A ****ing embarrassing game- the team didn't come out to play hard, was sloppy, let a mediocre Detroit team out hustle them for the win.

Sengun was garbage, Jalen crap, the entire team didn't defend well until they were way behind this has been building.

Since Jabari went out our D is about 10ppg worse......got to get back to fighting hard game in and game out.

The Pistons D was good but not one Rocket played up to their capability - and they still had somewhat of a shot to win.

 

We didn't go 0-3 last 3 games !!!
