Guys, has anyone seen the list of the people that are legends and have retired or are going to retire?

    Look at this:

    Coming up:

    Jerry Rice
    Steve Young
    Hakeem Olajuwon

    Gone:

    Charles Barkley
Micheal Jordan(Guarantee at least one reply)
    Wayne Gretzky
    John Elway
    Barry Sanders
    Dan Marino

Is this somekind of legendary record? To think about how lucky we are to be in a presence of such sports greatness is truly a privilige. The only player I saw on this list was Dream. But that was in 1987. He kinda sucked compared to what he was when he became the best I ever saw in the mid-90's I am sad to think about that I never saw those other great players on the field in person.

I would definately add Steffi Graff to that list, unless you were just talking about male athletes, and Raymond Bourque to the list who are set to retire. And if your willing to go back 2-3 years, Lemieux and Drexler should be added (but then you could also add a whole bunch more) Asides from Dream, I've had the privelige of watching Jordan, Gretzky and Barkley live, but unfortunatly never saw the others (actually I did see Monica Seles but she is still playing and not in the same class)
